Since he wasn't going to work today, Abe went back to the room to sleep some more.
An hour later, he was in the kitchen with a frown, searching the cabinets for anything to eat.
The whole kitchen was empty, it felt like everything was raided.
After searching for a while, Abe finally found some sliced bread in the lower part of the cabinet.
“How long has this been here?" Abe wondered
He opened the nylon and took a quick sniff of it.
“Uhhhn" he shrugged his shoulders before placing two slices of bread on a plate, returning the rest back to the cabinet.
He brought out the only orange juice in the fridge to down the breads.
It was not the perfect breakfast, but who was he to complain?
He ate quickly and left the house.
He wasn't going to take a bus or a cab, the supermarket is not that far from the house. He had seen it on their way to work.
He'll take a cab when coming back, he was trying to be economical, and he was glad he did.
On his way to the supermarket, he saw people rushing off to work and people taking a morning jog. He was even unfortunate to witness a scene of a drunk vomiting by the sidewalk.
“Jesus!!" Abe was completely caught off guard.
He walked as fast as he could away from the scene, breathing a sigh of relief when he walked past the man.
He continued his economical walk to the supermarket. He met and saw a handful of people, young ladies to be precise as Abe filtered the men out.
He feasted his eyes on their perfect behinds, a sexual scene playing in his mind as they jogged past him.
He was fantasizing about how soft those a-s would feel to his touch.
He arrived at the supermarket in no time, ‘The Heroes Market’ was boldly placed on the top.
He walked in and the first thing he could think of was the word ‘large’.
He was supposed to get a lot of things and he was worried about getting lost, luckily there were signs for each section.
With his eyes fixated on the food and vegetable section, he took a stroller and started his shopping.
He only took what they needed at the house, and if the price was high he'd look for an alternative, but come back to it if he can't find one at a cheaper price. Once again, he was being economical.
He was so busy being economical. He was in a full shopping mode, that was until he sighted the most beautiful lady he'd ever seen in the city so far.
She was black in complexion with curly brown hairs which were held together with a band.
She was putting on a pink crop top, blue jean trousers that complemented her perfect legs and showed off her round a-s, with a white sneaker.
She had her hands on her lips, unintentionally showing off her breathtaking dimple, she looked thoughtful as she stared down at the mini freezer displaying the ice creams.
Abe's heart was beating fast as he stared at her from afar, he was definitely going to talk to her, he must.
He dropped the cookie box he was holding and pushed his stroller to meet her.
Just as he was about to reach her, the tires of the strollers squeaked, prompting her to turn around.
She turned to face him.
Her skin was as clear as the day, she had these captivating blue ocean eyes, a perfect baby-like nose, well-defined brows and full lips.
Just like Little~ad3N said in his song “Gat me falling deep with all those curves barbie".
Except in this case she wasn't a Barbie, and he wasn't just falling for her face alone, he was also falling for her pretty face.
“Hi" she greeted.
Abe stared blankly at her " You're not supposed to be this close to the ice cream” he muttered.
“Sorry?" She tilted her head to the side
“I wasn't really expecting you to say ‘hi’" Abe said, scratching the non-existent itch on his head.
“Really? And why is that?" She asked
“I was down th..there by that… by that place and you were looking so beautiful, I just had to come down. I was going to come up to you and start the conversation with a pick up line, an..and i really not expecting you to say ‘hi’.” Abe rushed his words, in the process stammering.
" Sorry! I'm not really giving a good first impression, I'm I?” He said.
" Yeah!!” She chuckled, "Let's start again then, but this time you go first."
“Yeah? Okay!" Abe cleared his throat.
“You shouldn't be that close to the ice creams." He said
“And why is that?" She replied
“Because your hotness will melt them."
(I know it's s not the best pick-up line, but it's good.)
