“Because your hotness will melt them." Abe said with a smile

“Ohh! Will it? So what was I supposed to say after that?" She chuckled

“Well…I..it was different in my imagination, you were supposed to be impressed by it."

“Are you impressed?" He asked

She looked at him for a little bit before bursting into laughter, Abe also chuckled nervously.

“A little. Is that all you got?" She said

" You want me to go again?” Abe asked surprised

" Yes. I interrupted the flow when I said hi, wasn't it? So you can go again.” She said as she folded her arm around her chest.

" Yeah you did. But if you say I should go again, I will then.”

“So ummm… I'll walk back a little bit, then you just pretend to continue looking at the ice creams just like you did before.” Abe said

" Okay.”

Abe took a deep breath, then put on his best smile. He really didn't want to mess this second chance up, he walked down to meet her again for the second time, but this time he left the stroller behind.

“Hi." He said behind her

“Hello." She replied back as she turned to face him with a smile.

This time Abe was prepared, he wasn't going to be distracted by her perfect face or her captivating blue eyes. But it was easier said than done, he took a little pause as he stared at her face, almost blacking out again.

“Sorry, are you perhaps a beekeeper?" Abe finally said

“No." She replied

“You aren't? I assume you are, because you look as sweet honey." Abe said with a smug look on his face

Yet again she bursted into laughter, but this time it was different.

Abe smiled, knowing he'd finally succeed in accomplishing the first phase.

“That was impressive." She said with a smile

“Yes? So will you tell me your name now?" Abe asked

“Angela, but my friends call me Angel." She said

“A true name fit for a celestial being as you." Abe said

“Enough with the sweet talk mister. Introduce yourself."

“Abe. My name is Abe but my friends call me Abe." He replied with a smile

“Really? Then it's nice to meet you Abe." She chuckled

" Likewise. It's really nice to have the privilege of knowing you Angel.”Abe said, stretching his hand for a shake.

" Can I call you Angel? We've already gotten to know each other. Our name at least, so I can be considered a friend.” He said as he held her hand.

" Yes you can. But the question is, do you just want to be a friend?” She asked

“To be honest, no. I want to be more than that." Abe replied

“Uhmm, we'll see about that."

“I do have a question though," Abe said

“Go on."

“Can I not stop holding your hand?" Abe asked

“You should take it slow, don't you think?" She replied

“Yes I should." Abe released his grip on her hand.

“Take the pink one." Abe suddenly said

“Pardon!" She said with a raised eyebrow

“The ice cream. You should take the pink one, it's the same with your top." Abe explained

“Ohh! Thanks." She said,

She opened the mini freezer and brought out a medium size strawberry flavored ice cream.

“I should get going now, I only came for this." She said

“Ohh can I get your number then? Just in case, you know."

She looked at home with a smile, then said “Come to church.”

" Sorry?”

" If you want to have my number, come to church tomorrow for Sunday service. I'll give it to you after the service.” She said

"Which church is it? And how would I know you'll be there?" Abe asked

“ The one beside the Success Kiddies Elementary. And don't worry I'll be there" She replied

“I'll be there. You must keep your promise." Abe said

She didn't reply, she just smiled and walked away.

Abe watched her back view for a while, watching her disappear by the corner.

He resumed his shopping, not forgetting to buy the new phone his uncle said he should get for himself.

“Thanks for shopping with us." The receptionist said as she passed Abe the bag of his shoppings.

He got out, hailed a cab down and got in.

“Anderson streets." Abe said as he dragged his shopping bags into the cab.
