Fast Level Ups

Chris enjoyed the night, along with his sister. He has a great reason to. He was finally able to utilize spells/skills on Earth, which means he has a way to deal with the enemies easily.

"I can't be arrogant to think that I have enough juice to protect myself against the intruders that the quest has mentioned. I don't even know what level my mana core's level has progressed to. I can't deal with those if they show up in front of me at the moment. I need to grow stronger to make sure that I won't screw up the quest in any manner and that the awakening process will be a perfect success", Chris chided himself as he felt a bit arrogant for a moment.

One should pride oneself on their work and the results that one obtains through their hard work but should never be arrogant. Arrogance would blind a person, so much so that, even a weaker person would have a chance at defeating them as they wouldn't have prepared well against the weak enemy.
