When Anna and Janjan saw a lot of people circulating at a particular place yelling and screaming, they had to leave before anyone recognized them. It would be a disaster if people found out she was here. Who knows what they might do to her.
Getting unnecessary attention is the reason she had asked her maids to keep their distance so that people will not recognize her.
Anna sighed in relief when they were far from the crowd. She adjusted her hat before the mirror and her sunglasses which covered almost half of her face cause of it's size.
"Now Janjan, can you recognize me?" She asked her friend and Jannie shook her head.
"I wouldn't know it's you Anna. You're good." She gave her friend a thumbs up and Anna smiled.
"Anna wow those jewelries are to die for." Janjan rushed towards beautiful pearl jewelries at a corner. They were each arranged according to the prices.
"I want one." Jan bit her lips. She had a thing for pearls since a child. She just cannot resist beautiful pearls and would get them at any price.
"Those are really expensive ma'am. They're for special customers, I don't think you can afford them." A sales attendant said to Janjan, sizing her appearance with her eyes.
"And what makes you think I cannot afford them?" Janjan gritted her teeth. This isn't the first time she has shopped here before, just because she decided to dress casual not to attract attention doesn't mean she isn't of importance. She clicked her tongue.
"It was only a suggestion ma'am."
"You..." Anna held her friends hands and Janjan stopped speaking and smiled.
"That's is no way to talk to a customer." Anna scolded calmly.
"I was only trying to tell the truth ma'am. It's obvious you both are some nasty catfishers who are only here to feel big or steal rather than buying." The sales attendant blabbed rolling her eyes and Janjan clenched her hands into a fist.
"I'm warning you girl. You have no idea who you're talking to." Anna pinched Janjan's wrist again and her friend sighed frustratedly.
"Let's go Janjan we don't want any trouble." She whispered to her friend.
"I can't believe you'd let this...." Jan bit her lips trying to find the right words.
"We haven't gotten what we came for remember? If we cause anymore trouble we could be kicked out." Anna warned.
"Listen to your friend ma'am. Just be careful not to steal anything cause I'll be watching you." Janjan felt like strangling the girl before her with her bare hands. At this point she didn't care if they were in public places, she just wanted to put this bitch in her place.
Anna dragged her friend before she would create more trouble as they went on to check other things.
"You've grown so soft Anna." Janjan frowned.
"I haven't. I want to more than anyone put her in her place but not in a public place like this one. I already have a terrible record Jan that I can no longer live like a human." Anna sighed.
"I'm no longer allowed to do any wrong. It's like my bad book is filled until I expose whoever did that to me." She adjusted her glasses.
"Are you still willing to be a celebrity?" Janjan asked and Anna nodded. She wanted her life back again even if she knew it would no longer be as easy as she once had.
Being a celebrity is a job that once you get it, your life will never be normal again. Celebrities can no longer live normal lives cause people will always recognize them wherever they go. It's best you stay a celebrity than seek normal life once you are one.
"Oh that diamond jewel is beautiful." Janjan pointed at the red jewel dragging her friend over to it. Both people didn't have the time to survay the area before walking to it that they hadn't noticed the familiar figures standing just right in front of the red jewel.
The jewel was so enticing that the moment Anna saw it she wanted it. The same could be said about Veronica and Nari who were already in talks about getting it.
Before Veronica could make her decision, Anna grabbed the jewel.
"What the hell." Nari cussed out at the same time her eyes turned slightly wide at the person standing before her. She recognized this face from anywhere.
Anna Sui?
Nari gritted her teeth at the sight of her ex friend. Anna and Janjan also froze at the sight of the people standing before them. They just never thought they would meet this women here today.
"What do you think you are doing rubbing your filthy hands on that Jewel?" Veronica spat drawing the attention of a few people around.
"I heard you got kicked out of the Sui family house Anna are you sure you can afford that? Don't tell me you're now a theif." Nari mocked mustering the most beautiful smile ever. She spoke ever so calmly that if one didn't look closely, they wouldn't know she was speaking.
"Do you think if we didn't have the money to afford anything we would even come here? So bold of you to still talk after everything you've done."
"Shut up." Veronica Yong shunned Janjan.
"Does your father know you're still friends with this shameless whore. I should Inform him when next I see him." Janjan hid behind her friend. It's true that she was forbidden to see or even hangout with Anna ever again.
"We don't want any trouble." Janjan quickly said.
"Give the jewel back Anna and avoid the impending embarrassment you want on yourself." Veronica Yong stared at the proud woman that had boldly embarrassed them the last time they had visited her. She smirked. This is a good payback, who knew she would get her revenge sooner.
Embarrassing this bitch Infront of everyone in this mall will be the most fulfilling thing.
"And what if I don't?" Anna asked.
