I'll wait for a few chapters to drop first. This is just like when he was captured. Oh look, chi bending is done to take his bending away. What will happen next... Of course he'll learn chi bending to regain it and thereby strengthen his will to prevent it from reoccurring.

I hope this doesn't go the same way as that guy mentioned, mc going to another world somehow and not returning here ever...

I hope he learns from this when he gets his power back, but he probably wont. I dislike the MC losing as much as the next guy, but this is what happens when you wantonly kill people simply because you can. I was at first super angry that author would do this to MC but after thinking about it logically, he totally deserves it. Not I support Aang in this novel, I’ve never really liked the idea of some wacky OP spirit and some old ghosts deciding how the world is run. But if I stop thinking about that for a second, I can see that the MC 100% deserves to lose his powers for using them the way he has. When he gets them back, hopefully he doesn’t get worse and go on a slaughter spree that kills thousands of innocents in the name of his revenge. Not to mention, I bet katara is going to try to kill him now. Which he wont be able to defend against. I hope author can find an interesting way to move forward without turning him into a full on murderhobo or a miltiverse traveler. This will probably be a major turning point in this novel.

the thing im mad about isnt even him losing, it's the author making him unnecessarly cruel and bloodthirsty since meeting Azula at around chap. 35. Why would he become this dumb, he would have eventually become strong enough with his talent. feels very forced
