I think your first chapter is quite too long. For readers like me who are using mobile phones, a chapter that is too long is quite hard to look at. This chapter has a lot of interesting things so it wouldn't hurt to divide into two chapters.

Firstly, the synopsis is too lengthy, to the point that it could easily constitute an entire chapter of a novel. I would recommend shortening it to one or two paragraphs that highlight the most interesting aspects of the story. Secondly, the chapters are too long.
