And I know most popular VR novel has lots of action but they tend to focus so much on it that the plot and character seemed one dimensional. I want to write a VR novel that don’t just have action where the MC goes in and finish this dungeon or killing that monsters (rinse and repeat). I want to write a more goal-oriented MC where he does things for a reason and letting the readers explore his thought and every scheme step by step.

Normal monsters as in monster you find in the wild. And since it's the early stages of the game, players mostly grind and level up by fighting low-level normal monsters found in the wild. However, Xu Feng can no longer do this because of the 99% exp reduction.

I did try to consider them, but then I don't want it to be overly complicated. Thus, I just use colon to indicate if the dialogue was from a message prompt, rather than a person speaking. Since there will future chapters of players making forum posts, so I want the readers to simply get used to the format.
