Magic swordsman? Bad*ss. His stats seem kinda low tho but it'd be boring if he could just clap everyone. Maybe he can do a ritual with a dragon heart? Turn himself into a dragon kin to increase his sensitivity to magic and keep up with the stamina demands of a coven?

I just hope that somewhere down line you recreate the scene in Merlin were several bandits threatened and mocked Merlin and he just coldly responded “if you value your lives you won’t take another step” the bandits just laughed and said “you don’t even have a sword” and like the legend he is said “I don’t need one” It would be cool if you recreated that at some point since it would just fit with got so well

Um sir author are they ever gonna contact home even if they can’t return (which I hope they will) it seems pretty cruel for them to never contact their families ever again especially since everyone from their home universe probably thinks there dead.
