"GAH!" 

I yelled, that shout echoing so loud from my mouth. Like a cry that went on and on. My ribs broke at the force of his fist. He had not even move, merely lowered his stance and counterattacked once I had fully committed.

Thrown into that same pile of rubble I resorted to something different.

I breathed in, before twisting my hand in a gesture. He tried to dodge only for a gout of flame to wash over his form. Burn the very clothes off of his back. But that still did nothing, merely placed ash in the sockets between his eyes.

But still, it gave me an opportunity to close the distance, enough that my kick sent him sprawling to the ground. A silent cry of pain on his lips as he bounced against the concrete.

I raised my foot and smashed down. Only to find his spot completely empty.
