Chapter 1CH.1:Sakuya and System

/Pls Enjoy/

-3rd POV-

Sakuya Izayoi, the head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. She is a human that is able to stop time, alter space and serves The Scarlet Devil who controls fate.

Sakuya has a classic maid dress with the skirt being up to her knees. Instead of black as the primary color, it's blue. Her hair is a nice silver to white and her eyes are a deep blue. She is tall (there is no other information).

She is currently holding a bucket and towel and is cleaning the windows of the Mansion in her time stopped world, Sakuya's World. She may be the head maid, but the rest of the maids are simply fairies that can't even get close to the amount of work she does.

With quick hands and a minute later, the last window is cleaned. She's done this so many times now it's just become repetition and autopilot. She then makes her way to the balcony and stands behind a chair.

The world around her slowly regains color and time has once again continued.

"Sakuya." Her mistress, Remilia Scarlet, calls out to her.

"Yes Mistress?" She responds without hesitation.

"I would like to read a book." Her demand is strange, but she usually does this. Especially after Reimu the Shrine Maiden had beaten them black and blue to clear up an incident she caused.

"What kind?" Sakuya just needs a genre and boom, in a snap she'd be back with one... to others that is. She'd search every nook and cranny in her Time stopped world for a good result.

"A fairytale, if your a bit lost, just ask Patchy for a recommendation." Remilia then took a sip of her 'tea'.

Sakuya then bowed, and as she took a step back without making sound, she was in her own world again. She stared the time frozen Remilia and sighed. She then crouched down in the ground and put her head in between her hands, internally sighing. 'I think she read all of the fairytales in the library no? I'll just as Patchouli.'

She then stood up from her internal struggle and made her way to the library. On the way, she'd seen many time stopped fairy's flying around holding either brooms or many different cleaning supplies. She wanted to get out of time stop to lecture then or perhaps tell them to do something else, but her mistress's command comes first.

So she continued walking down the hall and then down the stairs. As she continued, she flinched as she heard someone speak.

[Ugh... My head, where am I?]

Sakuya has whipped her head around several times to look for the source of the voice. No one should be able to speak, let alone move in her world, Sakuya's World.

[Huh? Sakuya?]

The voice sounded like she knew her, so Sakuya looked around once more in confusion as she continued down the staircase.

[Wait... Is that Sakuya Izayoi? My favorite maid from Touhou!? OMG OMG OMG]

'What the...' Suddenly, Sakuya spotted a blue transparent window to her right with the exact same worlds as the voice said on it. She raised an eyebrow and continued through the hallway.

[Ah, she's so pretty~ A girl like me could only dream of being next to her. Maybe this is a dream hehe.]

The voice sounded giddy, and the transparent window reflected that by turning pink. At this point, Sakuya ignored it and hoped to find answers in either books or Patchouli, their resident librarian.

[Wait, what are these numbers and words?]

The voice then went quiet and Sakuya stood in front of the entrance to the library. She went in without hesitation, and as she did, the voice yelled out.

[IM HER SYSTEM!?]

It was so loud, that Sakuya had to cover her ears and crouched down. Although the voice sounded like it was in her head, she felt the need to do it anyway because it was REALLY loud.

The transparent window then looked down at the crouching Sakuya with confusion.

[What happened? Why'd she suddenly do that?]

Tired of this farce, Sakuya finally spoke to the voice. "I can hear everything you know?" She window physically flinched after that.

[Y-you can hear me?]

Sakuya then nodded while getting up and facing the transparent window. "You are obnoxiously loud, and how did you even get here?" She was frustrated, but the screen and voice that are within her own world, calmed her a little but kept her guard up. It does get lonely when your alone in a time stopped world after all.

[I... well *cough* I am your System!]

"That doesn't explain anything." Sakuya deadpanned while staring at the window with a cold glare. The window visibly flinched once again.

[J-just say Status!]

"Status." She continued glaring at the window and it changed. It said her name, abilities and some other stuff she didn't understand.

[Sakuya Izayoi]

[Skills: Time Manipulation, Space Manipulation, Time-Space Manipulation, Knife Work.]

[Strength: Superhuman.] [Speed: Not Calculable.] [Endurance: Superhuman.]

[Selves Adapted: 0]

Sakuya raised an eyebrow and looked towards the window with a glare once again for answers.

[I... um, well... It's your status! It explains everything about you... well, whatever you want me to put about you. For example, if you are afflicted with a type of injury or poison in the future, I can specify which parts are damaged or what curse or poison your afflicted with.]

The System quickly said a lot within a few seconds in this stopped time. To which, Sakuya just sighed. "What about the 'Selves Adapted' part?"

[Oh, here, say Shop.]

"Shop" After Sakuya said that, a long list of her name with different numbers and words appeared.

[Sakuya Izayoi L1]

[Sakuya Izayoi (Lunar War Servant) B3]

[Sakuya Izayoi (Scarlet) A6]

[Sakuya Izayoi (Legendary Vampire Hunter) E1]

[Sakuya Izayoi (The Moon and Izayoi) L80]

[Sakuya Izayoi (Lightning Speed Maid) L1]

[...]

The list went on and on, while Sakuya grew more and more confused. "Why is my name here? 'Vampire Hunter'? 'Scarlet'?" She continued to read out the names. Then, another window beside the shop window appeared with the text of the girl speaking.

[These are other versions of you! If you buy them from the shop, their power will become one with yours. You know about the timeline and multiverse theories right?]

Sakuya nodded. The only reason why she knows those theories is because of her powers. Patchouli went on a day long tangent about such things and even grabbed Marisa along with Rinnosuke Morichika, a shop keep, to explain.

[Well, I'm suppose to help you get stronger, but it's entirely up to you.]

"What am I suppose to call you?" She was just going to head to an expert about this later. Maybe she's seeing things, or perhaps a yokai entered her head without her realizing. The worst case is that something happened to her soul.

[Well, I am your System, I don't remember my name from my past life...]

The System voice seemed downtrodden. "Wait, you were a human before this?" Sakuya was intrigued about the last part however.

[Yeah, I was playing a game called Touhou LostWord and fell asleep. I then woke up and saw you, a character I thought wasn't real, right in front of me.]

After that, Sakuya went frozen stiff. "Character...?"

She was having an existential crisis after finding out she was just a character made for a game, series, anime and fanbase.

The Synthesis Wizard

In a world where elements lay barren and powerful wizards had abandoned their homeland a millennium ago to explore the multiverse, Sunan found himself reincarnated as a noble scion stripped of his title. This world, once brimming with magic and wonder, had fallen into a desolate state, and wizards had become mere legends. Sunan was acutely aware that after a thousand years, the elements would awaken once more, heralding the return of the wizards and ushering in a new era of prosperity. He understood that his path was clear: he must train diligently to become a wizard himself and survive until this glorious age arrived. “Resources are scarce?” he mused, determination flickering in his eyes. “Then I’ll just have to synthesize them myself.” With that thought, he activated the Synthesis Cube, a device that granted him the ability to combine materials into something new. This Cube was not just a tool; it was a symbol of his potential in this world, reflecting his status as a player in a game he once played. As he set to work, the Cube glowed with possibilities, presenting him with a myriad of options. He had a few basic materials at his disposal, remnants of his previous life and the knowledge he had accumulated from his past experiences in the game. Sunan began experimenting, combining herbs and minerals he had gathered. Each successful synthesis filled him with a sense of accomplishment, inching him closer to his goal of becoming a wizard. Days turned into weeks, and Sunan’s skills improved rapidly. He crafted potions, improved his understanding of magical theories, and honed his mental abilities through intense meditation practices. The Star Ring Meditation, one of the first techniques he mastered, allowed him to tap into the latent mental energy within himself, enhancing his cognitive functions and magical sensitivity. As he progressed, whispers of his endeavors began to circulate among the remaining noble families and the common folk. Some viewed him with suspicion, while others saw potential in the young man who dared to challenge the status quo. Sunan knew he needed allies. He began seeking out individuals who shared his vision—a return to the age of wizards. He discreetly approached the remnants of the nobility, the few who still held some influence, and began to forge connections. His reputation grew cautiously, and with it, the opportunities to gather resources and knowledge. He learned of hidden libraries, ancient texts, and artifacts that could aid in his quest. One fateful day, while exploring a forgotten ruin, he uncovered an ancient tome detailing the rituals of the wizards who had once thrived on this land. The pages contained knowledge that could accelerate his growth, including spells long lost to time. “This is it,” Sunan thought as he carefully transcribed the contents into his own notes. “With this, I can not only learn the spells but also improve my synthesis techniques.” As he delved deeper into the arcane arts, he realized that the key to his ascension lay not just in personal power but in understanding the intricate web of alliances and rivalries that defined noble society. He had to navigate these treacherous waters carefully. In the back of his mind, Sunan always remembered the impending return of the wizards. The time was coming when he would have to reveal his true potential and lead the charge into the new era. With each passing day, he grew stronger, more confident, and increasingly aware of the responsibilities that awaited him. The world was changing, and Sunan was determined to be at the forefront of that change—a wizard in a world that had forgotten what it meant to wield true power.

God of Internet

Adrian, a 21-year-old game developer, had just graduated from college with a guaranteed position at one of the country's largest game development companies, but instead of his dream coming true, it ended in a car accident after his graduation party. When he woke up, Adrian found himself in the body of a 17-year-old high school student. To his surprise, this guy wasn't graduating from an ordinary school, but from one of the gods! Having taken over the body of a young god, Adrian had thousands of ideas on how to use his divinity of creativity to get as many believers as possible. Adrian realized a great way to get thousands of believers quickly. "Can't I use my deity to make games and ask for prayers for believers to play my games? Do my believers need something to fight monsters with? I'll make Tamagochi Pokemons so they can summon monsters to fight for them! Do a red fire dragon, a blue water turtle, and a green plant frog look familiar? It's just a coincidence. Is my believer's technology too weak? What changes can an intelligent AI assistant bring to people's lives? When the God of Thunder decided to invade the realm of my believers, the creatures he encountered left him speechless. "The God of Creativity wasn't weak? Where did so many powerful monsters come from?" The God of Thunder cried out in despair. "I'm no longer the God of Creativity, I'm now the God of the Internet!" Adrian said with a smile as he ordered his followers to attack the enemy army. From the young god with the weakest and most underestimated divinity in the class, who no one believed could graduate, to the god the other gods can only look up to.
