THE 100 MISSIONS

CHAPTER I: MISSION 1 UNLOCKED

I suddenly found myself in an empty white space. Floating above a white cosom. A hooded figure in black robes floated in front of me.

"Where am I?" I asked.

The hooded figure spoke nothing of it. It simply raised its left hand. Suddenly 3 holographic screen like options came floating in front of me. On the left it read 'Mana Control'. Below it was a fine print that explained it as the ability to use all magic.

In the middle it read 'Chakra Control'. The ability to use all ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu. So basically a ninja from the world of Naruto.

The last option on the right it read 'Ki Control'. The ability to use, control and manifest KI energy. It seemed like I had to choose an option. Me being a huge fan of DBZ there was really only one option to choose. I immediately reached out my hand and tapped on 'Ki Control'. Suddenly a light energy entered my arm and coursed through my entire body. Giving me a rush of energy like I've never felt before.

Suddenly another screen popped up infront of me.

'MISSION 1: KILL THE GOBLIN CHIEF '

It read in big bold red letters. The next second the whole place went dark.

When I opened my eyes I suddenly found myself in an old Gray Forest with gigantic trees. The forest ground was littered with sticks, bones and lea ves. I immediately b egan inspecting my body . The clothes were mostly wool and cotton, except for the leather boots. A slightly heavy bag on my leather belt. I felt metallic coins in the purse. 3 Gold pieces, 50 silver pieces and about a 100 copper pieces.

I felt a smirk coming upon my face. I could hear birds in the trees. Animal sounds all ar ound me. The forest seemed alive and relatively safe. I could even smell some smoke nearby, perhaps a fire.

So first thing was first. What to do? I remember being in a car crash so I figure I died. I didn't really have much attachment to my old life. Except of course for my family . There's also the endings of my favourite anime and manga.

Maybe one day I could return to earth. Accomplish enough missions and it might be possible. Before I could even think of that, I had to train myself and get stronger. From watching tv and manga I know about the v ery basics of Ki control. Something about life energy popped up into my mind.

Suddenly my nose pick ed up a very delicious smell. Meat I think and nearby too. The same direction as the smoke from before. I couldn't really tell which way was north or anything like that. I could only follow my nose towards the meat somewhere.

Soon enough I spotted the smoke rise atop the skyscraper like trees. I slowed my pace towards the smell. Soon I heard voices having a laugh. A group of 3 people sat around a fire. Some kind of animal above the fire. I'm guessing that's the meat I smelled.

"Hold it right there!"

A voice suddenly called fr om behind me. A sharp metallic object just b arely touched the back of my neck.

"Calm down, just her e following the delicious smell. As you can see I'm unarmed." I calmly spoke.

The owner of the voice walked around to my front. He had his bow drawn full length towards me.

He was tall and lean. Long blonde heir and a pale white skin. He had a nasty scowl on his for ehead as he stares a hole through me.

"Kail! Who's this!?" Another voice came.

I looked up to see the three people from the fire. The one who spoke was a tall bulky guy in plate armour. A heavy looking sword by his side. A black bushy tail wagged around his back. On top of his bushy black hair were a pair of wolf ears.

"Who are You!?" He asked in a low, deep, menacing voice.
