Mia nodded absentmindedly, "Another reason I think it's a great idea. It's going to take my mind off Jack. I will have something to focus my energy on. Don't you think so?"

"But you will have to see Beth too. She is in the industry, or have you forgotten?"

Mia's shoulders slumped. How could she forget about her backbiting ex-best friend? She remembered her even when she didn't want to, and that was every day. Yet, she wasn't going to put her dream on hold for Beth. "Regardless of when I go back into the industry, I am going to meet Beth. Unless she suddenly decides to leave the industry, which I know she wouldn't. It's unavoidable, Sheila."

"I don't know, Mia."

She sighed. "Okay. This is a tie. We need someone to break this tie for us. What if I ask Declan? I will go with whatever he decides."

Sheila raised her brow and chuckled. "You can't be serious, Mia?"
