Davien's P. O. V
Kian was lying to me? Just what the fuck was he even talking about?
Before I could even ask Kian tried again to lead me away, "Davien, there are too many people here for you to do this. Let's leave." Kian said, drawing my gaze to all the guests, whose rapt attention was on us, more importantly on what we were saying.
"Love, it looks like he has no clue about that painting. Or why you really wanted it." Knoxwell raised his pitch, making sure everyone heard what he was talking about.
However he wasn't stupid, he wouldn't intentionally say something that could also place his business in jeopardy, hence the cryptic manner.
But I knew what he meant, Knoxwell was talking about the painting Ceaser wanted that Kian had tipped me about, the one that gave the location of the land's deed.
In a harsh tone, Kian glared at Knoxwell, "Keith, this is neither the time or the place, stop it, while I'm still asking nicely."
