Chapter 109

Davien's P. O. V

We quietly got into the car, keeping an air of silence about us, even until I drove into my apartment grounds, we both kept to ourselves. Once I turned off the engine, Kian alighted the car and walked noiselessly towards the porch.

Our silence lasted us the entire time, up until we went inside, or to our own seperate rooms. Well, Kian to my bedroom which he had converted to his, and mine to the guest room.

Once I heard him shut my bedroom door, I stepped out of my room, and went to the bar section to grab a quick drink. However while I poured myself a drink, I heard a knock on the door downstairs.

I placed the bottle of alcohol on the table and sauntered over to the door, where the knocking persisted. It was late, and I didn't expect anyone at this time, nor were there enough people who knew where I lived.

Maybe it was Oliver…no, this scent didn't belong to him, this scent belonged to Valerie.
