I liked this. You did great. A lot of people who read fanfictions don't care if there is an actual story. However I like this and it brings more depth to the MC.

Don't listen to the haters I love the beginning of your story. For me, if it's not silly, I think it's fine to add some drama to your story (just a little though because it can get boring really fast).

The MC's misplaced preoccupation with something he has no control over suggests that he has brought his low self-esteem with him from the afterlife. But since we don't know what happened before he reincarnated, we find him a pathetic MC when we read it. And the supposed adoration of the MC by damachi implies that he died young (13-20) only someone of that age could affirm such adoration towards an anime or an explicit character. That or an unscrupulous otaku (extreme, limitless, etc.) Conclusion: his behavior is fine, adding that he doesn't remember who he is before and the current argumentative context any human being would act in a similar way in such a situation... maybe less extreme but similar. 9/10

Really hope this mopey attitude of the MC changes sooner rather than later. This is well written but I can’t take much more of the MC hiding in the dark for the entire chapter

this MC drama matches the personality shown in the prologue but a little unrealistic in my opinion, I work with nursing and I've seen 3 cases of people who died for a few seconds, in all cases taking the brief doubt of what happens to them and where are they very quickly accepted the news that they died but came back to life, that's why I understand isekai MCs who accept circumstances quickly, because after a death experience other things can seem kind of insignificant(Sorry for the English I used google translator)
