Fairy 28.1: Meredy III

2 weeks went past, since Zack and Meredy have met. With Ultear still on her assignment, Meredy did what she asked of her to do. And even give Meredy herself tips on how to get information out of Zack's mouth.

First step was of course, to become closer to Zack, before showing any kinds of intentions what Meredy wants out of Zack. Regarding to Ultear, this was meant to make Zack lower his guard.

This is all in order to make sure Zack doesn't grow wary of Meredy when she askes her questions for her beloved Ultear.

Like everyday this week. Meredy who soon finished her daily training of her Maguilty Sense Magic, waited for Zack to be done with his own magic training, before he came to look for her.

Of course, with Zack's brotherly instincts, it is impossible for him to overlook the fact, there is a child alone in the middle of nowhere. Meredy did told Zack about the fact, her guild is not far from here, and only monsters that came here are the weakest among the monsters in this forest.

When it comes to the monsters in this forest, even the weakest of the lot, still extremally dangerous to normal humans without Ether. However, to Meredy or other wizards around her live. Zack knew they no threat and make perfect target practices.

That is why Zack didn't question why she is all alone, since he knew Meredy can protect herself if she remain in these parts of the forest. Of course, that will be a different question, if she were to roam any deeper then here.

But that wasn't all that happened in these two weeks. What shocked Zack the most in these two weeks, was Meredy's status, especially her Magic Capacity stat, that was at D++ but now is C+.

When Zack saw this, he has no clue why her stat just suddenly ranked to C but also increased by two more tiers at that. Not even Zack that good. However, that confusion was soon answered by Nightfall, who seems to see through Meredy's sudden increased of Magic Capacity.

{Hmm… I see, the sudden increase of her Magic Power, is most likely the results of drugs. But scanning her body, they don't seem to be harmful to the body, unless she overdoses on them. However, I still think Master's way of training is more effective. By draining your Magic Power repeatedly.

That is way, your Magic Power and its capacity will increase over time. After all, the method of draining your Magic Power to it's empty over and over again, is the basics of basics when it comes to training your Magic Power. Not to mention using drugs to increase your capacity of magic, will develop impurity in the body over time.} Nightfall stated.

Hearing that, Zack nodded. After all, isn't that the basics? After all, it was no other than God that given Zack that method to increase his Magic Capacity stat.

Of course, Zack has no clue, this method of draining your Magic Power over and over again, is barely known these days. And it also can be counted as a Lost Technique, just like Lost Magic and God Slayer Magic, since it also has been lost through time just like those magic systems.

But that didn't stop Zack being Zack, whose brotherly instincts took over him, when he informed and show Meredy this method to increase her Magic Capacity, with the fear of ruining her future, if she keep on relying on those drugs to increase her Magic Power.

When Meredy first heard that. Of course, she doubted Zack, but that was until Zack unleashed his overwhelming Magic Power that dwelled inside his body. Showing the might of his B++ Magic Capacity Stat.

This shocked Meredy, Meredy knows Zack's Magic Power in quantity is not as much as Ultear, who has a large amount of magical power inside her.

However, Ultear's Magic Power is not as thick as strong as Zack's magical power that is powered by his B++ Magic Power Stat.

Showing Zack's Magic Power might lack in quantity, but it doesn't when it comes to quality, that if Zack's magical powers are compared with Ultear's.

Of course, the reason for this growth, was thanks to Zack's cheat, Growth Rate, as well his ingenus ways of training himself. Not to mention, Ultear herself, is a child that has been experimented on since she was a child. And because of those experiments, Ultear has a vest amount of magical power inside her.

This is the difference between a child with experiments, and Zack who only been seriously training for half a year. If Meredy or anyone knew of this, and Zack's current strength of mere six months of training. It be an understatement if no one will call Zack a monster with his current growth rate.

Even if Makarov and the others at Fairy Tail sees Zack as a talented wizard. They see Zack as a talented wizard in the terms of studying and learning abilities, that allows him to learn anything you throw at him.

Meaning everyone in the guild, as no clue how frightening Zack's true talents are, when it comes to physical and magical training, never mind just training the mind and knowledge. Otherwise even them cannot help to see Zack current rate of growth as monstrous.

(AN: You need to recall, that first year, Zack gained knowledge, second year, his heart was broken. And learnt how to become more like human. And this is his third year by the way. Meaning this Arc 2, is Zack training to his true potential)

While thinking all that, Zack looked at Meredy, who keep on taking about how amazing Ultear is. Of course, seeing the looks on Meredy's face, made him curious about this Ultear person is.

But besides that, Zack quietly listens to Meredy while Zack himself strokes her pink hair, which Meredy seems to like very much. And begin to tell Meredy his stories of encounters he has the last six months, and about his new family.

Of course, Zack being Zack, also this little girl before him, with no ill intentions about the fact, that he wanted to build a harem for himself in the future.

Meredy who listen to Zack, cutely and innocently confused what's a harem is, but asked anyway. Of course, Nightfall, who has been listen to the duo, cannot resist itself from commenting this…

Upon hearing Nightfall's remark, a headache came to Zack. Of course, Zack has no clue what a loli or lolicon is. But, for some reason Zack has this craving to smashed Nightfall into pieces, and yet knowing it will properly enjoy that, only increased the headaches Zack is suffering from.

"Big brother…?" Hearing Meredy's voice, Zack turned his grassy eyes towards her. And looked into her pink eyes and show a calm smile.

"Sorry, I was just recalling something annoying… sorry for scaring you." Zack said that, as he strokes Meredy's soft pink hair. Each time he patted Meredy's hair, reminds Zack of Lisanna. Because of those memories of the time, he spent with his little sister he made in this world.

A sad smile came on Zack's face, and for some reason, when Meredy saw that sad smile with those longing eyes. She doesn't know why, but Meredy felt her heart aching when she saw Zack like this.
