And that was it...
The end of this draft.
Never got around to reaching chapter 80. An irksome circumstance for someone who likes to cap things to be divisible by 5 or 10.
As for important takeaways... well... I like what I did with Home Alone. Something ambitious but probably doable. Which is reason enough to probably be continued in the main story.
As a matter of fact, with this being timelined in the late 80s, a lot will probably be assimilated as plot points or plundered movies.
In this case, Alexander would go for low-profile movies as opposed to the high-profile box office plundering streak that he is at. Pretty helpful for a company with theater distribution capabilities.
Something I'm miffed at when it came to this was my blatant use of opposition. In almost every major movie there were rivals and whatnot. A bit more unnatural and bombastic with big names already involved than how I went about with the Anti-Creed Alliance.
And the most obvious thing I'm miffed with... nay... cringed at... is obviously the crazy relationship dynamic. And the horniness...
Ah... my youth as a writer was wild...
Strangely enough, my main storyline is slowly edging to the downtrodden path that this had been.
The main story would probably devolve into a mindless fest at some point but I hope I can handle it better than this.
Anyways... that's probably my closer for this one...
Thank you for taking the time to read it. This 2nd draft and 1st draft... and hopefully your continued support on the main one, too.
And as a parting request... if you want... drop a one-star review or two. It would be much appreciated.
Peace!
