The df ability is bad. If he fight some opponent, how can he make the opponent to gamble with him? There's no way they will follow Mc to do some gamble when they fight. And we don't know how much mc get stronger with one gamble. I think the fandom version is better than this version.

Not a big fan of the devil fruit since it seems very wierd and linear. From my experience most DF don’ really work like this one does. If it was something that helped show the odds of a gamble, or help increase or decrease odds it would make more sense. They way it’s shown here he can use it to gamble with someone and then get a power up, but he could just keep gambling with someone unlucky who is an ally before going into fights. It just seems wierd that the devil fruit just magically powers him up. Most devil fruits increase power through their concepts and abilities, and they are related to the fruit.

According to the canon, the fruit does not give any knowledge. Luffy did not know that he was a mythical Zoan and Brook did not recognize his power until his death. And in general, the fruit looks pathetic, even compared to that guy with wheels

The devil fruit is pretty trashy and boring, also why does it seem so complex and linear? Devil fruits are mostly in a form of a concept. Any devil fruit is better than this boring, complex and convoluted devil fruit.

it seems interesting, but if it is just an excuse to get out of trouble with the plot armor it would be boring, there should also be times when he has bad luck to balance himself, I think that in hunter hunter there was a character who died because he was unlucky in his bet .

I am a little confused that Liam instantly gained knowledge about what fruit he eat and what poers he has. Didnt know DF could do that. Even more so that paramecia fruits can do it......Altough while the bet improvement IS pretty temting I dont think it should be the FIRST thing to focus on. I thing the 2 MOST important things to improve on are to 1st make it so there is a way for the gain to be permanent instead of all bets to be only temporary gains. Then the 2nd would be to gain other ways to get luck other than the classic "login reward" that he gets for each new day. Like seriously Liam said it himself that he only gains very little for each day. That means Liam would need to store something like a week of luck JUST to use gamble only once.

I think it's an Interesting Devil Fruit, though the complexity of this Devil Fruit's powers are going to cause you problems in the future.
