Intentions?

"It's crazy that we live in the same apartment!" Chelsea said as they finally began talking to each other. They had both turned off their treadmills and began sitting down on one of the benches in the gym.

"It's like those main characters that are always lucky for some reason and the authors always call it a coincidence. I think it's called 'Plot Armour'." Kanzaki said back to Chelsea as they were talking to each other. Despite them being right beside each other they still had to be a little loud due to the fact there were so many people working out behind them.

Chelsea just nodded her head in agreement as they started talking about a bunch of things including many different things about Kanzaki's stream and many elements he had asked her to make.

As they were talking out of nowhere a dumbbell came out and hit Kanzaki.

"ACH!" Kanzaki said as he was struck with the dumbbell in his shoulder. He had already been sore for some reason that morning and since the dumbbell hit him in the same spot it only furthered his pain.

"Are you okay?!" Chelsea said in a panic as she dropped down to the ground to check on Kanzaki.

Kanzaki had expected the person who dropped the dumbbell to come over and check on him as well but when he looked up from the ground he saw no one there. There wasn't even someone that was close to the dumbbell making Kanzaki much more confused than even getting hit by the dumbbell.

"Yeah, I'm fine thank you." Kanzaki said as he took Chelsea's hand to stand up. Something always went wrong at the gym no matter what he did and at that point, Kanzaki just accepted it and dared fate to try and do something again.

"Where is the person that dropped it?" Chelsea asked in confusion as she finally turned around to look. Her main concern when she heard Kanzaki fall was to check on him and help him get up before even looking at the cause of the incident.

"I'm not sure. It looks like they didn't want to own up to it." Kanzaki said in anger as he began walking around the gym asking if someone saw who dropped it.

Many of the people didn't know because they simply hadn't paid attention. Even though he had shouted in pain the gym was so loud that nobody heard him resulting in nobody knowing who did it.

Chelsea then accompanied Kanzaki as he went to the front desk and asked if he could check the cameras for the person that threw the dumbbell.

"Excuse me are there any cameras set up here?" Kanzaki asked the person at the front desk of the gym. He had been looking around and didn't spot any but he was hoping that he was just really blind or that he missed something.

The person at the front desk was obviously confused but when they saw the eager faces of both Kanzaki and Chelsea they decided to answer as best as they could, "Yeah there are some cameras placed all around the gym so no one steals anything. Why do you ask?" The front desk worker wondered seeing that they were extremely eager for the information.

"Someone dropped or threw a dumbbell at me and then left. It was really weird so I just want to check if it was on purpose or not." Kanzaki said making the front desk worker gasp.

"Someone actually did that? Sure I can check for you." The worker said as they took out a laptop from the front and began tapping away furiously.

After a few seconds of typing, they finally turned the laptop in Kanzaki's direction, "This right here?" The worker asked showing when Kanzaki and Chelsea were hanging out on the bench.

Kanzaki recognized the footage immediately and so did Chelsea making both of them nod their head quickly, "That's the one!" Kanzaki said with happiness seeing that they might have a chance of seeing the person.

Once the worker got confirmation they then began playing the video but before it could play there was a slight glitch on the screen which confused all three of them, "What was that?" Chelsea asked since she had never seen something like that before in her experience.

"I'm not sure myself. It looked like the feed was reset but I'm not sure. Normally if there's a reset the compute shuts off and then turns back on. It seems to be nothing though so let's continue." The worker said not sure what it was but decided to ignore it regardless.

After the worker said that they began the feed by showing the video that the cameras captured. It was obvious from the beginning that there was someone behind Kanzaki and Chelsea. They were wearing a hoodie and sweat pants so their features weren't that visible but the most surprising thing of it all was the fact that their face was perfectly covered up by the camera.

"Is there another angle that might show their face?" Kanzaki questioned wanting to be able to identify the person the next time he saw them in person.

"Sorry, but there isn't one. This is the only camera on this side and it usually does the job." The worker said also confused by the situation. During the entire time they had been working there they had never seen someone able to dodge the cameras completely. No matter how long they watched the video the face of the person wearing the hoodie avoided the cameras like they knew where they were all located.

"Maybe check other locations when they leave." Kanzaki suggested as they got to the part where the person dropped the dumbbell on Kanzaki.

It looked like they wouldn't be far enough to reach him where they were standing but suddenly they walked over to Kanzaki dropping it on his shoulder.

'It was on purpose?!' Kanzaki thought in shock when he saw that part of the video.
