This hits home.... I deployed to Afghanistan as a combat medic,and when I came home... I was different, and in my mind I relive it over and over again so realistically I've never been able to come completely home even though my body has been here for more than twenty years my mind still alters between 2003 to the present moment. It is always a shock to the system when flooded with over 20 years of memories in a matter of moments. . .
