I have a feeling the author has a thing for tall people or against short people. All the characters are so tall!! That said, the novel is decent but drags at some parts. It also can feel slow and tedious, going over events and with methodical detail that I didn’t need a chapter for. It makes it feel like I’m truding through events rather than enjoying a journey. I realized I skim a lot because of this issue, but not to the point where I got frustrated enough. But it is to the point where I feel like I ca man out the novel down for a while and come back later, if at all. I commend the author, but I feel as if the storytelling needs tightening up.
