"Excitement"

Catherine after taking her bath she goes to the wardrobe of her room and start to take out her clothes and dresses. Today she want to look her best in front of Paulo, she wants to draw his all attention towards her so that she could easily express her love for him. She tried various dresses from her closet and looked herself in the mirror after wearing them but she does not like any of them. She constantly change her dresses but she doesn't seem to be satisfied by any of her dress in her closet. After trying every single dress from her closet she ran out of choices and now she have nothing special to wear that can make Paulo awestruck by her beauty and charm.

Catherine sitting on her bed with full of frustration as there nothing for that be impressive few moments later someone knocked the door of her room she pleasantly asked to come in who's at the door. Door opens and it was her mother who wants to see how her daughter is going to dress tonight for her dance party.

"Hey what's going on huh ! did you decided what you're going to wear tonight ?" Her mother asked to her.

"No..... mom, seriously I can't decide what to wear tonight, I do not have something very delightful." Catherine answered her mother.

"What ! I mean seriously you've have dozens of dresses in your closet but still you don't like any them." Her mother questioned.

"No, No..... Mom you can't understand, yeah these are good but I really want something special, something that could be very authentic, I mean if someone see me in first glance then he remain awestruck by it." Catherine tells her mother.

"My lovely princess, you're so beautiful that anyone can be mesmerized. You don't need anything special, your charm is enough." Her mother praised.

"Thank you so much mom but still then I want to wear somthing really magnificent for tonight." Catherine said to her mother.

"Why are you acting so restless hmm ? and why you want to wear something special today, whenever there is any special occasion you always wear something which is in your closet but today you want something else why ?." Her mother questioned but she didn't answer.

"Look at me Cathy, tell me truth do you want to dress yourself graceful for dance party only or for someone who is very special to you ?". Her mother asked in a teasing way.

"WHAT ! NO...NO I... I seriously can't understand what you're talking about, why I would dress myself for somebody ?" Catherine said in a bashful manner.

" Cathy stop acting like that !" Her mother told.

"What to stop ?" Catherine asked.

"Stop acting like you really don't know anything what I am talking about." Her mother told.

Catherine's mother came closer to comfort her and tried to know about her daughter's interest.

"So tell me who's that person ?" Her mother asked.

"C'mon..... Mom it's nobody how many times I have to tell you." Catherine answered.

"Ok don't tell even though I know his name." Her mother said.

"Who..... you know? Catherine asked.

"Well.... it's umm Paulo ! am I right ?" Her mother answered while Catherine was shocked that how her mother knows about it.

"No..... what rubbish is that, he's just my friend mom." Catherine answered while at the same time she was feeling little bit shy as well.

Catherine was blushing due to shame but her mother never stopped to tease her.

"Hmm..... Ok if he's just only your friend then why are you so blushing since I took his name, I can clearly see it on your face." Her mother said while Catherine bow down in shame and answered nothing.

"C'mon tell me Cathy !, you can't hide it from your mother. Stop shying away !, just look at me and is it Paulo ?" Her mother asked.

Catherine didn't said a word but she put a little cute smile on her face and nodded while her mother was very happy after knowing the fact.

"Really is that true, you.... you really love him ?" Her mother asked again she only wants to hear that she is in love with Paulo.

"Yes... Yes mom I really love Paulo, I really want to be with him." Catherine replied while her mother embraced her with a warm hug.

"I am glad to hear that you are in love and in love with Paulo, even though I always thought that there is something between you both but today.... today I am fully convinced as well." Her mother said.

"Ok tell me how long you been together ?" Her mother asked.

"No... Mom we're only friends right now" Catherine answered.

"Friends ! What do you only FRIENDS HUH ?" Her mother questioned.

"Actually mom I haven't told him yet that I... I am in love with him in fact I never got a chance to express my love to him." Catherine said.

"Then when are you going to tell him ? when he leave you and move on with someone else then you're going to tell him about your true feelings ?" Her mother taunting her.

Catherine seem to be enraged by her words and was quite disappointed also that how her mother said these things to her.

"MOM ! Please stop talking to me like that and please stop saying those things, if you want to talk like that then please you could leave my room and never talk to me ever again." Catherine threaten her mother.

"Cathy... Cathy calm down, calm down I was just kidding I don't want to infuriate you. Ok if you felt bad then I am sorry about it and I promise you that I would never say those such things to you again now please forgive me." Her mother apologised.

"No mom it's ok, it's not your fault in fact you're saying right I have to confess my love to him that's why I had decided that finally today I am going to tell him everything and make this day even more special." Catherine told her mother.

"Really ! you're finally going to propose him today ? Ok if you're going to tell him everything tonight then don't I got something really special for you then." Her mother said.

"Special ? what special." Catherine asked.

"Something special that you're searching for and it will make you even more beautiful if you had it but before that you need to close your eyes." Her mother said.

Catherine closed her eyes and does exactly what her mother said while her mother went out of her room to bring something. Later she came back trying to hide something behind her and told Catherine to open her eyes.

"What are you hiding behind your back mom ?" Catherine asked.

"You want to see ?" Her mother said.

"Yeah I want to see, what is there ?" Catherine said.

After this her mother finally revealed what she is hiding behind. A very elegant navy blue sheath dress for her daughter. The moment when Catherine saw that dress she was very much mesmerized by the dress.

"Wow.... is that for me ?" Catherine asked.

"Umm... well Yes !" Her mother replied.

As soon as she replied Catherine hugged her so affectionately as she seem to be very much satisfied by her gift.

"Thank you so much Mom, Thank you that's what I was looking for, It is so gorgeous, I just simply love this dress. Oh my god I love so much Mom." Catherine thanked and hugged her mother.

"Ok, Ok I am so glad that you liked this you, know what I tailored this dress all by myself." Her mother told.

"Seriously Mom ? Oh... you are so great." Catherine appreciates her mother.

"Ok now c'mon get yourself ready and then show me that how my princess looks in this dress. C'mon I'll help you to look perfect." Her mother said.

After their talk Catherine's mother help her to make her daughter ready for the dance party.
