Ch 117 – Becoming Enemies

(A Few Days Later)

In a dark alley somewhere in Kuoh, a singular person wearing a white lab coat was walking around with his hands in his pockets, having a very confident aura to him, you would think he was a badass monster hunter/scientist.

Well… it's because he is!

With a booming sound up above him, a stray devil was seen attacking him from nowhere with long nails stretching from its fingertips, pointing directly towards the man's head.

But with his hands calmly getting out of his pockets, a gun was actually in his right arm, and with a single press on the trigger, a bullet shot out of the gun directly hitting the stray devil's head blowing it into bits and pieces.

[Haha, that guy must be really pissed off right now that most of his troops are getting killed by you!] Ddraig chuckles.

"Not really, I could already see that this is just a façade of his, he's already expanding to other cities, and from what I see, he is planning to take over Japan and then the world, a typical villain who aims for world domination," Rintarou mutters, picking up the dead devil beside him and with a flicker, he appears in a strange lab filled with strange objects and tubes containing weird humanoid beings similar to the stray devil he just killed.

[So, are you planning to relocate your base of operations to another country?] Ddraig inquires.

"Maybe, I don't mind letting him grow more, for now, I already have a plan in mind on how I will oppose him like an annoying cockroach main character," Rintarou said while throwing the stray devil into another tube that soon got filled with goopy green liquid.

[Mkay.] Ddraig states.

(A Few Days Later)

High atop the tallest mall in Kuoh, Rintarou crouches near the edge of the roof while looking all around Kuoh with an intrigued stare.

[Most of them are already under his control huh, though I guess getting that Fallen Angel was a fluke considering how Rias and the gang are still not under his control.] Ddraig mutters. With a quick glance around Kuoh, Rintarou and Ddraig both saw how most of the residents of Kuoh seem to be acting a bit strange… too orderly, as if they were mindless bots under someone's control.

"Sigh, let's just jumpstart this thing. If he's not actively trying to fight against me, well I'll bring hell over earth for him!" Rintarou states, and with a swing of his arm, a blue glow covers his right arm whole along with the Yamato appearing directly in his grip.

[You're pretty impatient for a "God".] Ddraig ridicules.

"I know, that's why I'm a God, I accept my imperfections and try to fix them," Rintarou mutters.

"But this time… I don't mind going loose for my enjoyment!" Rintarou said with a wide grin on his face. As a flicker of blue light appears on where he was previously standing, he directly appears in the middle of the marketplace with the most amount of people.

And with a single devastating swing, the fabrics of space got covered in blue lines ensuing a mournful bloodbath of the ages.

Hundreds, perhaps even thousands died under Rintarou's domain-type attack as those who lived acted as if nothing was wrong and went on their ways, confirming their suspicion that they were indeed under that guy's control.

"LEO! Come out! I know you're controlling everyone here!" Rintarou shouts with a maniacal laugh as multiple glowing blue crescent beams went to destroy multiple houses and buildings around him as the blood starts to form a sea of red.

But out of nowhere, a resounding sound ensued from random speakers that said. "Everyone! Attack the enemy!"

And without hesitation, the people under Leo's control charged at him ranging from old grannies to little children.

"Kukuku, if you think I wouldn't hurt children, well you're wrong!" Rintarou shouts and with a single teleport, he appears right in front of a brown-haired boy rushing towards him and directly grabbing his small squishy head, and with a single pop, his head exploded like a watermelon spilling blood and brain matter everywhere.

And as he did, he saw many people running away while also recording the video so, with a wide grin, he points at the ones recording him with a thumbs up while stabbing the Yamato to the head of an old grandpa assaulting him.

[Wow, that's brutal! I like it!] Ddraig cackles while rooting for Rintarou.

"Let's get serious shall we?" Rintarou said, and with a black armor covering his whole body, he kicks on the ground creating multiple afterimages around him as tens of necks rolled to the ground leaving fountains of blood from the beheaded bodies.

With a grin behind his Dung Beetle armor, Rintarou grabs two twin children on the ground by the legs and uses them as makeshift nunchucks battering them to tens of people while their bodies crumpled into disgusting meat paste with broken bones and destroyed organs.

"You better hurry up Leo! Most of your army will now fail if you don't act now and send your heavy hitters!" Rintarou shouts while taking out a gun from his pocket and shooting devastating bullets that pierce through multiple heads leaving large holes on their foreheads.

"YOU BASTARD!" Leo shouts through the speakers around Kuoh and out came a flying horde of Fallen Angels and Stray Devils towards him in the distance, Rintarou doesn't know how he managed to get ahold of them but for him, it's just more fun!

"GOOD GOOD! HATE ME! MAKE ME YOUR GREATEST ENEMY!" Rintarou shouts and with The World appearing right beside him… time went to a standstill.

And with rapid slashes in the air in front of him, hundreds upon hundreds of blue lines appear all around the supernatural enemies of his, and as the 5 seconds came… each and every one of them exploded into a mist of blood leaving Leo shock in his hideout.

'H-how is he so stong?!' Leo thought with shocked eyes, and as he continues to watch the scene through the monitors, Rintarou suddenly snaps his head toward one of the cameras with a wide grin.

"I know you're in the abandoned church! I'll give you 10 minutes to run away! Tick tock! THE TIMES FUCKING TICKING!" Rintarou cackles maliciously as Leo's legs trembles in fear.

"I need to run! I NEED TO RUN!" Leo shouts while slapping Raynare awake who was lying beside him naked.

"WAKE UP! WE NEED TO RUN AWAY NOW!" Leo shouts as Raynare instantly wakes up from his command and nods.

Back to Rintarou, he was glancing around the bloody marketplace of Kuoh with a satisfied grin until he felt a dangerous energy signature appearing behind him all of a sudden.

"Oho? A fallen angel?" Rintarou said with a smile plastered to his face.

"Indeed, I'm a fallen angel, the name's Azazel," Azazel states with a laid-back attitude.

Turning his body around to meet this Azazel fellow, he chuckles and stretches his hand out for a handshake.

In response, Azazel grabs it with an amicable smile until he suddenly flares his dangerous aura out.

"Tell me human, who are you, and who is the one who controlled the Fallen Angels?" Azazel asks with a dangerous smile that brought a tingle up Rintarou's spine.

"Hmm? How about no," Rintarou responds with a smile as Azazel's grip tightened breaking multiple of Rintarou's bones but he simply ignores it and continues to smile.

"Oho? What is this armor of yours?" Azazel asks, coming to the conclusion that Rintarou's regeneration comes from the armor.

"Beats me, all I know is that you're a bit arrogant," Rintarou said and with a flicker, he appears far away from Azazel without him noticing for one bit which shocks him.

"Hmm, I'll let you off this once if you tell me who is the guy that controlled most of Kuoh," Azazel said once more.

"Eh, how about this. Take Rias, Sona, and the other "important" people out of Kuoh and return them back to the Underworld because the human realm is going to be fuck up soon in a couple of months or years," Rintarou said, leaving Azazel confused.

"Hmm? Why so? If you don't mind telling me," Azazel asks courteously.

"Well, I don't mind giving a little hint. When a man has the potential to control anyone he comes in contact with, and an opposing party keeps coming to annoy him and the opposer keeps getting stronger and also builds his own army to oppose the "villain", what do you think will happen?" Rintarou asks with a whimsical smile behind his helmet.

"A… war will happen, presumably at the scale of a world war!" Azazel said with wide eyes, finally understanding how severe this might become if he lets that controller grow stronger.

"Bingo!" Rintarou said while miniature fireworks explode around them.

"But I have another question if you don't mind," Azazel asks.

"Sure, ask away!" Rintarou said.

"If you are his enemy… why haven't you killed him yet? You said you're letting him run away? Why so?" Azazel asks, confused at the current dynamic between the two.

"Hmm, did you think he is the bad guy? Oh please, I'm the bad guy in this story!" Rintarou cackles while shaking his head.

"W-" Azazel asks but he was unfortunately cut off by Rintarou.

"Shush, if you're not planning to be on my side and not risk getting mind fucked by Leo, then go far away from the human realm as possible, if you want, I can lend you this device of mine that will allow your race to live on the moon," Rintarou said, tossing a strange cube to Azazel which he catches with one hand.

"What's this?" Azazel asks while fiddling with the strange cube.

"Just read the manual, you'll get on how it works. And go save Rias and the gang already if you don't want to risk a war between Devils and Fallen Angels due to a misunderstanding," Rintarou said while flicking away once more, leaving Azazel all alone in the middle of mayhem.

[That's pretty brave of you, but who would have thought Azazel is living in Kuoh, pretty strange isn't it?]

"Yeah, but Kuoh is strange altogether so it isn't really surprising. There are two relatives of two different satans living in this place, and one of them is a sibling of a Super Devil who can destroy the whole world. Just imagine fighting that guy is making my heart go ablaze!" Rintarou shouts while appearing back inside his neat white lab.

[So you're not planning to capture Leo?]

"For research?" Rintarou asks.

[No, the one where you said 10 minutes.] Ddraig responds.

"Oh, that? That was just a mindless threat, I was planning to let him go and never planned to catch him so early, this was just another roadblock for him by letting go of valuable pawns he could have like Rias or Azazel… or Issei," Rintarou states while throwing a strand of golden hair into a pod with the name Azazel popping up on the label.

[Huh, a whole arch fallen angel at your disposal and research. But it would be hard to fully replicate him due to most of his physical strength coming from his Light Power, but you should be able to easily extract a High-Class Devil strength by the least, or if you're lucky, Ultimate Class.] Ddraig said.

"Mm-hmm, he was pretty stupid for a researcher such as myself. It's pretty much a rule to not let anyone else get your DNA if you don't want to later see clones of yourselves, though they would be devoid of Light Power because Light Power is a bitch," Rintarou said while suddenly taking out a gun and blowing up the pod that has Azazel's hair.

[I fucking knew you would do that! God, my brain is fucking evolving!] Ddraig shouts as if he fully expected Rintarou's actions.

"Of course, I would do that, this feels too easy for me if I get a Twelve-Winged Fallen Angel at the start of a game, it's like cheating, besides, it would be better for my development if I don't do that," Rintarou said with a chuckle, and secretly, he was also proud at how Ddraig was able to anticipate his actions, that dumb lizard is finally getting smarter for once.

Now does killing those children a self insert of mine to fulfill my sick fantasies? Uhh... perhaps.

But yeah, just so you know, Azazel fully believes Rintarou and know the consequences of interfering would bring such as a war between the 3 factions, and also... AUUUUUUU!

I'm too lazy to explain why Azazel believes him but he basically tricked Azazel with his confidence and a little bit of trickery.
