Ch 118 – Dying

(A Few Weeks Later)

Inside a random room located inside a sky-high building that reaches the clouds, Rintarou could be seen sipping on some coffee and watching some TV with an intrigued smile.

"Oho? Leo is already getting multiple companies under his control, but he's moving pretty slowly. If I had his powers right now, I would have controlled all of Japan in just a week already," Rintarou said with a snarky smile.

[Well, you're pretty much doing the same thing as him right now though? You're building a company but located in the US instead.] Ddraig said.

"That's right Ddraig, I could have all of Africa under my control if I wanted to by just building a simple self-replicating, self-improving AI that would follow my every command. But because we are dear rivals, I would move at a relatively same pace as him," Rintarou said, rubbing his temples with a yawn.

[So how was the profit today?] Ddraig inquires.

"Just earned a few million, a bit on the low side but the US isn't my main base of operation anyways, it would be far away from here and I would only do that when Leo has most of the world under his control, I would be the hero who would save the day with the power of science and technology!" Rintarou said with a grin and a glint in his eyes.

[If you say so.] Ddraig said, continuing to watch the TV in their shared mindscape.

But soon, the lights around his room suddenly went off as multiple magic circles suddenly appears all around his room with all colored red, indicating devils has been summoned specifically in this room.

"Sigh," Rintarou mutters while standing up with a bored gaze at the other end of the room where devils soon appear from the magic circles on the ground wielding swords, spears, and other unique weapons for each of the women in front of him.

And right in the middle was a black-haired High-Class devil shown by his AI chip wearing a skin-tight black suit, probably made like that so that it's specialized for assassination.

"Hello mister Hououin," the high-class devil said with his face covered behind a cloth mask, but he was sure a grin was hiding behind that blank stare.

"Well hello, devils I presume?" Rintarou said, acting all innocent to lower their guards and to get a quick kill on each of them.

"Oh? We expected you to be… more shocked, but most rich people must have made a contract with us devils in one way or another, and unfortunately for you… we have been tasked to… exterminate you, to say the least," the high-devil said with a malicious tone, summoning a red blade of demonic power within an instant and pointing it towards Rintarou.

"Oh? Was it any of these groups I presume?" Rintarou said while the TV beside them shows a list of names.

"Oh indeed, it was mister Nakamura who contracted us, I didn't know how you offend him but this is just business, I don't mind adding you to my peerage if you're willing to join us," the high-class devil said, offering a way out for Rintarou.

"Hmm, so Leo has already found me huh. Well, thanks for the info, but you guys need to die right now," RIntarou said, leaving them confused but with the invisible The World appearing right beside Rintarou, time went to a standstill.

And with blue light erupting from his right arm, the Yamato directly appears directly in his grip, and with one slash to the air in front of him, multiple blue lines of cut space directly envelop the whole peerage in front of him, and with a barrier of space covering the area around them, time resumes once more.

With a silent sound of space being destroyed, the peerage in front of Rintarou directly explodes into a mist of blood while the blood splatters safely to the space barrier around them and as the Yamato was sheathed on his waist, the barrier disappears leaving nothing behind except a weird smell in the air reminiscent of iron.

"Sigh, now I also have to deal with some devils who are greedy for some demonic power. Should I make an anti-teleportation device? Or anti-divination function for the chip?" Rintarou mutters while plopping down once more on the couch and un-pause the show he was watching on the TV.

(A Few Days Later)

In the middle of a barren street in the middle of the night, a sleek black car was driving at a rapid pace, zooming past the street and moving from one place to another at blitzing speeds.

[How was the deal with Macrohard? They're finally collaborating with you to make a new set of apps and will be a 50-50 deal?] Ddraig asks.

"Yeah, but I'm planning to make mine 60% because I would be the only developer of those apps, besides, I really only need them for publicity so when a war erupts between the US and the collective nations under Leo in the future, I can just do shit that requires fame and my name out in the public," Rintarou mutters while smoking on a cigarette on his mouth, leaving a trail of smoke on the open window right beside him.

[What would you even need fame for? You know you're just going to resort to mindless superpowered robots in the future.] Ddraig asks.

"Probably to be a president? Mindless robots would only go far in some areas and being a president sounds fun, like bringing a single nation to the top to oppose the superpower of Leo. Maybe I'll even make a military of cyborgs under me for the extra drama against Leo's supernatural army. Who knows, it might even benefit me with the extra data the AI would be able to get once I start making it," Rintarou said with a chuckle while discarding the cigarette by throwing it out the window, leaving it far behind with his blitzing speed.

[Well you do you, I'm already at episode 121 and the plot just thickens!] Ddraig said, leaving Rintarou all alone to drive on the road with an absent-minded stare.

But soon, in front of him, the whole blank road in the middle of nowhere was filled with the color of red as the whole horizon in front of him glowed as if it was under a blood moon.

"Oh? That's pretty fast, well the Underworld is like massive so it should have a few billion devils under there, and besides, they might just be reincarnated devils so eh," Rintarou mutters while tightening his grip on the handle of the car, and with a single press on a secret button, the car suddenly transforms and did a front flip high towards the air with the sound of metal and gears moving was heard.

And at the same time, all the devils appear in front of him, his car went on to become a fucking mecha with rocket thrusters on its back that allows it to fly high in the air along with a gun hand erupting from its right arm.

And without any disruption, the gun in the mecha's right hand glows red and with a single beam of red light blazing through the sandy grounds around him, tens of devils died from the heat as more went to retaliate.

Gigantic demonic beams, elemental balls, arrows of blazing hot flames, sprouts of water and more appears all around him but with a simple energy barrier covering the whole mecha, all of those attacks were repelled with the power of science and technology.

"Huh, so none of them seems to be High-Class, this would be easy," Rintarou mutters and with another compartment sprouting from his back, multiple missiles went to shoot out of it towards the hordes of devils in front of him and soon, a series of explosions ensued leaving behind bright orange lights all around the area killing most of the devils, obliterating their bodies to charred meat and little bits of flesh.

"Well, that was pretty easy," Rintarou mutters while the mecha's left hand went to become another gun and with a single series of shots throughout the area, all of the devils were successfully exterminated, and as a strange vial of pink liquid got inserted to the right arm, Rintarou points the mecha's right arm towards the sky and with one shot, a cloud of Instant Clean went to envelop the whole area and with a rain of pink liquid, everything around him became squeaky clean along with his mecha car.

"Yawn, Leo is still a novice at warfare, if I was him, I would have simply made my power grow while constantly annoying the enemy with guerilla warfare to constantly diminish their supplies and stuff," Rintarou mutters as the mecha went to land on the ground and transform back into car mode, and with a trail of smoke behind him, he went to drive into the distant horizon and continue his travel.

But as he went to drive once more in peace, he couldn't help but feel uneasy and his worries were soon proven true as on the dark road he was traveling, a series of magic circles suddenly appears below him along with multiple mountain-destroying beams appears from nowhere high in the air as tens of kilometers was destroyed from those series of attacks.

And the preparators were soon revealed as multiple high-class devils appears high above the clouds from nowhere while slowly floating downwards towards the smoke on the ground where Rintarou was last seen.

With a single spell from one devil, all of the smoke got dispelled and soon, they saw a gigantic crater ranging a few hundred meters deep was seen with nothing else in sight.

Even Rintarou's body along with his car wasn't there which made the devils nod.

"We're done here! Kyouma Hououin is officially dead! I repeat! Kyouma Hououin is officially dead!" shouts the female devil with busty thighs and a large chest as the other high-class devils on the ground nod in response.

And with multiple magic circles appearing right below their feet, they soon disappear from the scene of the crime.

Right inside a random sky-high building, Leo could be seen having a drastically different appearance from before with rippling muscles and a taller figure, and with a blank stare, he watches the TV with a tight grip on his couch as if he was waiting for something important.

And with a loud ringing sound appearing from his phone out of nowhere, he hastily grabs it with haste to see a singular message.

[The Target is dead: *LargeCrater.png*]

"Ha… ha… hahahahahaHAHAHAHA!" Leo laughs maniacally as he plops down on the chair like a deflated balloon as if the burden of a whole world just got off his chest.

"HAHAHA" Leo continues to laugh as he looks at the picture repeatedly along with the video that was sent where Kyouma's car got obliterated to oblivion by multiple high-class devils collaborating to do a single destructive attack that would definitely alert the world to the supernatural, but for Leo, this sight just makes him have a literal boner as he even started to jack off right then and there.

"Oh KYOUMA! YOU FUCKING ANT! YOU'RE FINALLY DEAD!" Leo maniacally cackles as he continues to hammer his meaty mountain and with one grunt, huge loads of white sticky liquid got dispensed from the volcano's blazing hot core of fury and relief.

With ragged breaths, Leo went to continue doing some obscene acts after the death of a single man, but unfortunately.

"The fuck?" Rintarou mutters the moment he got out of a strange tube where his cloned body was stored which was a tube filled with gooey green liquid that allowed his body to grow healthy and strong, and also so that the body could actually be alive and not just die.

[Hahaha, you fucking died! How embarrassing is that!] Ddraig cackles while ridiculing Rintarou.

With shocked eyes, he hastily went towards his seat and play the recordings on his supercomputer, and with disbelief, he watches his body get obliterated along with the car he spent a few days on building with trashy equipment compared to the ones he has in A-1. "HOLY SHIT! LEO ACTUALLY KILLED ME?!"

[No shit sherlock, you fucking got killed!] Ddraig continues his mad laugh.

"Sigh, I can't believe I've done such a blunder! Gah, fuck it! I'll give him this win, for now, I guess I should be more alert from now on," Rintarou mutters with a sigh leaving Ddraig more than shocked.

[W-what?! You're not mad?! I thought you would go on a rampage right now killing another Earth!] Ddraig said in disbelief.

"Shut up Ddraig, I'm not a murder hobo, besides, this is like a game where you grow and learn from your past mistakes, but I guess I'll speedrun to becoming a billionaire right now because Leo seems to have more power than I previously thought, getting that many high-class devils is a bit alarming," Rintarou mutters while rubbing his hair covered in green gooey liquid.

Now... many of you guys are probably getting turned on by the insanity of this chapter, like bruh, the scene where Leo explodes a volcano is just a masterpiece!

Okay, enough joking around, the chapter here shows that both parties are competent in their own right and a glance to more of Rintarou's mind now that we are officially back in the land of 3rd person POV.
