This was dumb. For a shut in to make such a novice move... Everyone knows boss drops are way better early game, but crafted items always smack late game. Should have given him some food, said the building was clear, and leave him a few cores. Could have turned that building into a safe zone/crafting station... Guy clearly had no forethought.
