Man this is sad, I thought he could be the MCs long-term rival. Having someone as talented as the MC is good. Why do all Chinese authors avoid this like the plague? I liked Tejanos character and this chapter ruined it for me. Oh well

If Tejano were from planet earth it would be so interesting. The protagonist would have a strong ally and competitor, not to mention that it is a breath of fresh air for a small country to create a genius. Now basically all the most talented people are from China. I understand the author is Chinese, but this is disappointing. It ruined the character development.
