Zach came back in the door listening to the girls shriek with laughter. He smiled. “Sounds like they’re getting along just fine. If you show me where your dirty wash is and the location of the laundry room, I’ll get started.”

“It’s down in the basement.” Jason led the way down the stairs. “I have a baby monitor I turn on that feeds from Kitty’s room so I can hear what’s going on when I’m down there.”

“Good idea.”
