I really love this story, and want to tell you that your writing helped me through a very dark time. It’s to the point that I get physically upset when reading the unintelligent hate comments left on parts of your magnificent story. Matthew is human just as much as anyone else, and humans make mistakes. What is a story without conflict, where the MC gets everything right the first time as though they have infinite knowledge of all future events? Stories need conflict, and conflict comes best from ignorance, whether that be on the behalf of the character or the author. The point is, it doesn’t matter what everyone says, discounting the dedicated storytelling you’ve done. Constructive criticism is important, but only if it is actually constructive. Pointing out flaws willy-nilly without providing insight as to how the author can do better gets nothing done. I love your story, I love you, and I love where this is going. if I had the spare capital, I would put it towards your patreon, but for now I guess I’ll have to sit and wait for the next chapter. Godspeed.
If things don’t turn out well in the end, I’ll probably drop it. I don’t want too much unnecessary drama and death. I came to this book to see those deaths avoided. I hope the most that comes out of it is a changed timeline of who kills the basilisk, he learns he is in the MCU, he gains a lot of power, and he learns his lesson about holding back and sticking to canon.
