5. Training

After arriving at the house which looked deserted because Iori, Izumi's mother, was still taking care of the cake shop, he immediately entered his room. He was looking forward to using an internal body cleanser that might have a better effect than he had imagined.

After claiming all of his rewards from the chat group's inbox, a vial with strange liquid materialized in his hand. It was so magical when something suddenly popped out of nowhere.

Without further ado, Izumi drank the liquid while he was also going to the bathroom since the black lumps would exert out of his body. The black lumps could be said to be impurities inside his body. In the modern era, it was called an accumulated virus. As if squeezed out of his body, the impurities inside his body were getting less and less. It was after an hour, he felt so fresh, light, and fit. Somehow, he could even feel that he got stronger than before.

"Hmm, should I train from tomorrow onward? I feel confident that I can be stronger in no time after consuming this cleanser thingy."

Izumi looked at something below him where black lumps lumped together.

"Gross. I should throw it away immediately."

The next morning, Izumi woke up at 4.00 am. he turned off the alarm setting, washed his face, and then went outside to train while bringing his backpack. He ran from his home to the place around the area. At first, it felt heavy because Izumi rarely did physical exercise, whether in his past life or even in his life. However, over time, he started to get used to it. He even put some stones inside his backpack to increase his weight and difficulty.

After he ran that he couldn't count how much distance he had covered, he felt his physical body, fitness, and prowess increase. Although it's not that much, his strength was at least above the strength of an adult man.

"Is it the effect of that body cleanser? Isn't it too amazing?"

It didn't matter if he looked skinny, but his strength that already surpassed an adult man was something to be proud of while he just trained for a bit.

At that time, Izumi realized he was somewhere near Karasuno high school. Because he ran in a random direction, he didn't know how to end up at that place.

Looking at the opened school gate as if it said "come here!" to Izumi, he walked and stepped inside the school. Karasuno wasn't as big as his school, so it was quite easy to find a volleyball court.

Arriving outside of the volleyball court, he didn't immediately go inside and just looked from the outside. He saw three people inside, Hinata Shouyou was one of them. Then a scary-looking guy with short black hair whom he could guess that guy was Kageyama Tobio. The last one should be Tanaka Ryuunosuke because he could hear how he talked and acted similar to an upperclassman. In addition, his almost bald hair also convinced Izumi that he was not mistaken.

A while later, Izumi heard the sound of footsteps from behind. He looked back and saw a man who was taller than him.

That man touched his chin while looking at Izumi.

"You look foreign, are you a new student too? Want to join volleyball?"

"Ah, excuse me, I'm just passing by after running for 2 hours straight. The school gate was open, so I got curious when I saw someone go inside. Besides, I know someone who went inside."

"Running for two hours straight? Am I hearing it wrongly? Not jogging, but running?"

"Well, if you think I'm lying, it's fine. If I'm not allowed, I'll get out of here. Excuse me."

"Wait a moment! If you really know someone inside, why not call him and play volleyball together?"

"Well, I have never played volleyball before. So, I will be a burden when you may want to train seriously."

"Hahaha, it's alright. We also still need to adjust because some new members are joining. By the way, I'm Sugawara Koushi. I'm the third year."

"Nice to meet you Sugawara-san. I'm Miyamura Izumi from Katagiri high school."

"Oh, that school huh? I heard the football from your school is one of the best in our prefecture."

"Yeah, but the volleyball team from my school isn't your match."

Their conversation could be heard by the three people inside the volleyball court which made them walk outside.

"Eh, Izumi-san." Shouyou was a bit surprised to see Izumi in his school.

Izumi raised his hand to greet him.

"Yo!"

Sugawara Koushi looked at them and said.

"So, the person you know is Hinata?"

Shouyou scratched his head and replied.

"Well, we just met each other yesterday. It seems he's quite interested in our volleyball team. He also said want to play volleyball with us if possible."

"Hoo, wanna play volleyball with us? Who are you? You're not spying on us, aren't you? Or, wanna pick a fight?"

With his scary looks, Tanaka Ryuunosuke approached him with threatening words. Even so, Izumi was not afraid to face him. He actually dared to look into Ryuunosuke's eyes with a grin on his mouth indicating that there was no fear in him.

"Stop it, Tanaka! He had no such intentions."

Sugawara Koushi looked at Izumi while saying.

"I'm sorry, he's always like that. But he's a nice guy, you know."

Izumi nodded.

"A nice guy represents the meaning where a guy will be considered nice in attitude by women and always rejected by them. Hmmm, I'm so sorry for you!"

"Y-you bastard!!! You're seriously asking for a fight, aren't you?"

"Pffttt."

"Hahaha."

"Haha–..."

Even Tobio and Koushi couldn't help but laugh. While Shouyou tried his best to hold his laugh.

After joking around, Sugawara Koushi invited Izumi in. And since Izumi knew nothing about volleyball, Koushi tried to teach him how to play volleyball. Starting from touching the ball, receiving, etc.

Without realizing it, it was already eight o'clock.

"Crap, I'm gonna be late for school if I'm not hurrying."

He turned to Koushi.

"Sugawara-san, thanks for teaching me! If I have time, can I come again?"

"Sure, feel free to come here after school. If you can get better in your control over the ball, it will be quite useful for our train."

After Izumi got a positive reply from the upperclassmen, he turned to Shouyou.

"Shouyou, you should train your receiver! You're so bad at receiving the ball."

"Shut up! I don't wanna hear it from you!"

Izumi laughed while running outside. But he suddenly stopped.

"What's up?"

Koushi asked him. But Izumi was just silent and opened his backpack. He took out stones one by one from the inside. After he was done. He immediately ran as fast as he could.

"What the fuck. He is so fast. Maybe, he's faster than you, Hinata." Ryuunosuke was a bit dumbfounded after he saw how fast he ran.

"That! Are you kidding me? Did he just put those stones inside his backpack?" Tobio suddenly pointed at where Izumi put down the stones from his backpack.

"If I remember correctly, he wore his backpack when he arrived here. He also said that he was running early from four in the morning before he stopped by here."

"That's too spartan."

"I know, right."

After he arrived at the school, he checked his phone and saw so many notifications. He slept early last night and trained in the morning. So he had no time to open his phone.

On the chat, there was a document sent by Kakashi. It was a scroll that was scanned and converted into a pdf. That scroll was a guide for everyone on how to learn to feel the chakra and chakra control.

After knowing the positive effect of the body cleanser, Izumi thought it's not impossible that he could learn something like chakra control which should be impossible in the modern world. Or maybe, the body cleanser was a conductor to let normal people learn either Ninjutsu or even Magic after consuming it. Who knows.

Izumi: Thanks, Kakashi-san. I'll try later.

Kazuma: Damn it, dude. I watched the Naruto anime and tried to do what Naruto did. But that useless goddess laughed at me and then she said I was crazy. I really wanna slap her so badly.

Izumi: Hahaha, then slap her ass, dude. Maybe you'll know for a fact if she's wearing panties or not. You know what I mean, right? 

Kazuma: Stop, stop, stop! I know she's wearing a mini skirt, but don't just ask me to slap her ass!

Izumi: Tch, you're not fun. By the way, my strength suddenly increased after consuming that body cleanser thingy and training for a bit. Don't you realize it yet?

After he asked about the effect of that body cleanser. Everyone also said, although they didn't train after consuming, they still felt their strength increased. Somehow, the increase in their strength signaled that there would be some thrilling adventures in another world in the near future.
