he should find out someone else is behind the MIS after he deals with them, maybe a magical organisation similar to hydra, so he can have an enemy all the way until present time that he can't just deal with by reading a few minds, one that's highly dangerous.

I don't really know what you are planning but hopefully you have planned ahead I feel like you have made too many plot lines and you will tangle your story to death
