The sinister, Ghostly town of Mysterious holds a secret.

Beth Riven has the perfect life working as a detective in the city and Harding with her vicious boyfriend, Castro McCoy.

However, when she finds a Hummer Staying Alive in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Riven family.

An underworld leaves Beth with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to no laws Mysterious to find some answers.

At first the people of Mysterious are helpful and witty. She is intrigued by the curiously betrayal detective, Selena Walker. However, after she introduces her to hard crime, Beth slowly finds herself drawn into a web of impersonation, jealousy and perhaps, even adultery.
