I don't quite understand... you are writing that the kingdoms have hundreds of Nascent Soul experts while sects have <10??? Are kingdoms that much stronger than sects? And here I thought that the mc is a powerhouse in his continent... but should he leave the sect for a bit and he is just average? Like I thought Nascent Soul experts were the top dogs around the continent yet they work like border guards? I thought they were supposed to be super rare and be like hidden bosses not measly border guards that number in hundreds... c'mon...
You know, when it come to writing novel, Although it have been a while so not 100% remember right but I know one certain quote that quite suit for new author like you here, hope it give some idea a bit. [When you try to write a novel, if you slacking early on chapter and just info dump, giving excuse that after deal with most basic info then the novel will better later, then you will not have actual experience/skill to handle certain part/scene later in novel well when it needed there, that why foundation and practice are needed. Not to mention if you not do it seriously in the start then do you expect your work will be as good later on in this novel when you serious again ?]------------------- My brain seem to still have brainfog so the quote aren't as condensed as it should be =.=!, basically what I mean is that when it come to exposition/infor dump, if you not try to learn and handle it early on then when it reach the next arc of story that need another exposition, you won't have experience needed and skill raised to handle that part good enough there to nail it. ----------------------------- Enough rambling from me, I will try to read at least to chapter 30~40 but from what I see so far it not bad but not good enough, if this trend of story keep like that then I will have to stop to send my time either learn more 3D for later job or read the better novel that I temporally stopped to stock up there. Good luck (since you do say you not prepare to rewrite yet in order to improve more and outline the story later on more, then good for you, so to avoid pitfall of keep rewriting and not satisfy with the rewrited chapter. If you looking for some good novel to read and reference I can share some later if you want, in private of course)
Thanks for the chapter. Anyhow, while I don't really listen much to music when reading (I find it a bit distractive), I do like to have some background noise. There's this pretty decent emulator, RainyCafe.com, and it does exactly what it says on(in?) the box. Now all you need is some propper over-the-ear headphones, and you're set for the next 45 minutes, or however long you have between the swamp of daily chores, taking care of kids and work.
