It fine to exaggerate and use cliche’, but it feel like you over exaggerate most of the time here (mostly the real life part of story) that end up make the story less good, so try to use them strategically, please (it like you made cheese cream on cake fo other, but if it like 90% cream and 10% cake, then have them every breakfast, lunch and dinner then they will get sick of it real quick even if they like cheese) Hope it give you idea for the possible problem, I will read to at least end of volume 1 then to see if those problem still there or not
