Chapter 1Being Reborn A New

My character's power, or weapons in this case that he will be using, will be mainly from the Nasuverse. I apologise if I don't use a particular weapon for a certain situation, it was either that it is too powerful or I just had no knowledge of the weapon. There are just so many damn weapons out there in the fictional world, knowing them all is pretty much impossible.

"So, let me get this straight. You killed me without even giving me the chance to notice just to give me a chance to travel across the Omniverse as a GOD of combat?"

"Absolutely."

"You know, if I wasn't as open to superstition as I am, then I would completely call you someone who just came out of a mental asylum."

The voice of a young male could be heard speaking to a voice that sounded strangely mechanical in nature, the place in which this conversation was taking place appearing to be some kind of void. The young male who appeared to be only around the age of fifteen or sixteen was speaking to what looked like a floating golden orb in front of him.

To summarise everything that had just happened in the past two hours was that this divine being, who claimed to be the absolute strongest of all gods across the omniverse, had killed him on PURPOSE just to give him the chance to be reborn as a God of Combat. Crazy? Yes. He was having difficulty believing it himself.

Though, due to his open mind towards superstition, he managed to stay calm throughout the explanation.

Aside from that, his body was still intact even after death as he was seemingly floating in the void. Having a lean yet muscular build along with fair skin, having straight neat blue hair and a pair of jewel-like eyes, one being orange and the other a deep green. His clothes were rather simple as well.

Consisting of a pair of long black pants that stuck well to his lean legs, a pair of white running shoes and also wearing a tight white t-shirt that stuck well to his frame. Around his neck was also a small chain that had a silver cross aesthetic attached to it. He also had on both of his wrists two black wristbands.

If Arison, the boy in question, was like any other person, then he would be freaking out and probably hitting himself to wake up from a dream or something. Though, he wasn't normal in the mental sense. He rarely usually expressed surprise when it came to superstition like different worlds and also the existence of gods, he was open to it.

He just didn't expect this to happen...

"So, how about it? Do you accept?"

"Not like I have a choice..." Arison deadpanned heavily at the glowing orb of light. He was already dead due to this deity, so what other choice did he honestly have? He didn't want to go to heaven or hell yet. Plus, becoming a god himself honestly did pique his interest. "Though, what does being a Combat God entail exactly?"

"Well, when you arrive in your next world, you will be given all the information required for your abilities. Though, to put it simply right now, you have access to any weapon across the entire Omniverse, fictional or not."

"For real...?" Arison couldn't hold back the surprise now as he was truly astonished. That was absurd! He knew of different weapons that were absurdly overpowered in anime and other fictional worlds, an example being EA from the Nasuverse. 'Well, I won't be using anything too damn powerful. Do want a challenge somewhat at least. Being a Combat God must mean I must be powerful.'

"However, refrain from utilising anything too powerful that could very well break the worlds unless you need to or can hold it back. There are other lower gods who would try and kick your ass for it."

'And another reason for me not to use anything too powerful.' Arison really didn't want to have a horde of gods chasing after his ass due to something stupid he did with his powers. Didn't sound like a pleasant experience. 'Though, if someone really pisses me off to a certain extent. I won't hesitate to damn Infinity Gauntlet their ass out of existence. Though, it might not work outisde the Marvel universe... meh, I have other things.'

"Anyway, when you arrive, you will notice a change in your body. Your physical and mental capabilities will skyrocket due to the extreme amounts of divinity you will have, so just prepare for that." The divine figure warned as Arison nodded his head in understanding. "Also, there is another surprise you will see when you arrive."

"What is that...?" Arison asked hesitantly. He had a bad feeling about this...

"You will see!"

"Okay~...?"

"Well, it was a nice chat we had, New God of Combat." The divine entity said as a golden portal soon formed to the right of Arison. The male blinking at it for a second before shrugging, portals were a common trope in sci-fi and fantasy genres. "This portal will lead you to your first world. You may leave whenever you wish to the next, you will know how upon entering."

"Okay then. No time's better than the present." Arison shrugged before stretching his limbs and began walking towards the portal. He soon began walking through, though stopped and poked his head back to ask something. "Wait, who are you anyway? I know you said that you're a god, but what god exactly?"

"Well, I am the strongest of all gods. The ruler over all. The one who decides the fate of souls. The divine being who has no equal or superior!"

Arison blinked as the golden orb of light then shone even brighter to the point of blinding, causing Arison to cover his eyes as the light slowly began to fade away. When he regained his blurry vision, he looked up back towards the divine being. Only to widen his eyes to massive proportions at what he was seeing.

In front of him was an entity that man both feared and praised. A being who always came back no matter what happens...

"No, It can't be..."

"It is I!"

"No...!"

"Truck-kun!"

His spite for the world grew like a fire from that day on. Hoping for himself to die in the war, he never got his wish. The years went on but still, his spite never left him. It wasn't until the year 2010 at the tender age of 95 that he finally saw his foolishness. All that bitterness and hate he carried made him miserable. Life was unfair, but one should never give up on the smallest chance to be happy. In his retirement home he began to make friends with the other residents. Finding hobbies and talking with them. Eventually, he got into anime. It was introduced by one of his friend's Grandsons when he visited. He used the time he had left to indulge in the shows made by the Country he loathed until just recently. He spent the rest of his days comfortably, waiting to be reunited with his Lover once again when he finally passed on in 2018. That was what Raven Branwen remembered right after killing the Maiden to acquire her powers. She fell to her knees and shivered with tears in her magically blazing eyes. "Wh..What have I.. done..?"
