Haizz, so still basically forced to follow the cannon rigid way rather than just derail a bit there, not a good sigh when it come to creative writing and improve writing skill, even with the comedy style, I see lot of fanfic who done badly by either go full derail that there are no longer keep any good part that make the cannon good in the first place (especially in world building or certain character personality consistent) or still try to stick to cannon as close as possible no matter how bad/stupid is it (rwby is infamous example where the cannon is already very bad and some fan still try to stick to it rather than make their own more logical cannon/world building like this fanfic 'The other path (RWBY SI)'). Just only want to point out where your novel is heading to and hope you learn as much as you needed there when you try to write a new one
