Rani and Anurag left for Delhi to join their duties from leave.

Kousalya (Mother of Rani): One fine day telephoned to mother if Anurag. Hello, can I speak to Padamati.

Padamati (mother of Anurag): Yes. I am Padamati speaking. Who is on the other side please?

Kousalya: Myself madam. I am Kousalya speaking. Rani is my daughter. Anurag might have told you about Rani’s alliance issue. I wanted to speak in this connection and suddenly stopped further, thinking that what to speak.

Padamati: Yes madam. Anurag told me. If Anurag is interested in this alliance, we have no objection. But, we are also looking for my daughter marriage alliance. If this settles, we wanted to perform both the marriages at a time. This is our thinking, told the inner opinion to Kousalya.

Kousalya: If Mr&MrsPadamati visits to our house at Bengaluru once and see Rani, it is good and it will be nice too. If once you see and okay it then we can wait further. If your daughter's marriage gets settle, then we can perform Rani and Anurag marriage, told to Padamavati.

Padamavati: We will think over the matter once and inform to Anurag. Definitely, we will meet at your place.

Kousalya: OK. We will meet shortly. Then the phone was disconnected.

After two months, Rani and Anurag came on leave to Bengaluru. Anurag has brought his parents and sister Sudha (Anurag sister) to Bengaluru. Rani and Sudha sat in a room. Anurag with his parents and Rani's parents (Kousalya and Nischal Rao/ sat in another room and we're discussing matters related to the subject.

Kousalya: Is there any indication that your daughter's (Sudha) marriage is going to be settled?

Padamavati: Two or Three matches we have seen. One match we will settle, told to Kousalya.

Kousalya: Any dowry, gold, silver etc... Can we ask; or not? Expressed the doubt to Padamavati.

Padamavati: Ni dowry please. We don't want any gold or silver.. If, Rani becomes our family member, it is fine. Rani if understand us, Okay, it is good, told to Kousalya.

Venkat (Padamavati Husband): Yes Kousalya ji and Nischal Rao ji. Is it Okay for this?

Nischal Rao: Don't have any ambiguity. Our Rani, where it may be, she will understand well and get settled. Rani is very well known about this. Rain's professional life and personal life, she understands well. She has the courage and daringness to control the corruption and goondagiri in the society, wherever she may be. This is my firm opinion on Rani. Because, I knew well about Rani from her child-hood.

These types of discussions were going on. In the meantime from other room, Rani, Anurag, Sudha came into parent’s room where all are discussing.

Sudha (D/o Padamavati): Mummy, shall we go?

Anurag: Mummy. Everything is OK. Have you told my opinion to them?

Sudha: Yes Brother Anurag. If I want to tell about my sister-in-law, Rani, there is so much to tell. She is beautiful, good natured, well behaved and qualified, good profession, which, Rani choose itself indicate her quality of mind. Rani's tackling to fight against corruption and control the anti-social and bad elements, is good, as she is fit for this job. Rani has an ingenious vision. No doubt, Yes I am correct, told to Rani, to would be sister-in-law.

Venkat (Padamavati Husband): Okay, Now we all go out and have lunch in a hotel. From there we will leave for Airport.

After lunch, all went to Airport and given a sendoff. Then Rani, Kousalya and Nischal Rao returned back to home.

After six (6) months Anurag and Rani, Sudha and Chaitanya became life partners on one auspicious day.

Sudha and Chaitanya went to US for on-site work.

Rani has something in mind to help Poor people and destitute children. Rani has this ambition and zeal. One don't know whether this type of thinking has imbibed from mother's mentality or Rani has her own philosophy.

Anurag: Rani, I will come early today. My colleague son Birthday. I will come to you. Okay. We will attend the Birthday function.

Rani: OK Anurag. I will try to come.

Anurag: Ni, Rani, you too have to come. Nothing doing.

Rani: Okay. I will look into this aspect.

Anurag: Yes. You please try to attend. We will go, Anurag switched off his phone.

Rani: Looking at some files in her office.

Constable: Brought 10 year boy. But, looks to be studying face. Madam, this boy, is making infighting with other boys. For that reason, I have brought this boy here, Constable told to Rani Devi Madam.

All Boys: He has gone to his home madam.

In the meantime Anurag telephoned Rani. Where are you Rani, come on, I told you about today’s evening Birthday Party, angrily told to Rani.

Rani: Okay Anurag. I am coming in just 10 minutes. Sure. Told to Anurag.

Anurag: Disconnected the Phone.

Rani: See boys, I will come again. You boys don’t do any mischiefs or in fight. All be playing and left that place along with Constable.

Anurag not at home, when Rani went to house. Anurag left for Party alone. Rani refreshed and went to attend the Party in her car.

Anurag Friend: Hello, DSP Madam, come on, come on, told Anurag friend and invited Rani in the function hall.

Rani: Slight delay took place. One small case has come. Sorry for the delay, Rani told Anurag’s friend.

Murthy (Friend of Anurag): There is nothing to say sorry in this. Your profession is that.

Anurag: Rani, in this birth day all the children were playing actively. But, one child is looking separate, as has been observed by Rani.

Rani: Asked Anurag’s friend Murthy. Is that boy your son?

Murthy: Yes Madam. My elder son Sukumar. He is 3rd class. BharatiVidyaCodnvent School. Why you’re asking like that Madam.

Rani: There is nothing in this. That boy is standing at a distance. That’s why I am asking.

Murthy: Anyway you’re DSP. You’ll observe everything and every aspect very keenly and with observation, smilingly asked. Friend wife to Rani.

Murthy: Rani ji, I forgot to introduce my wife. She is Sujatha. Murthy also introduced to Sujatha about Rani and Anurag.

At the Birthday Party, everybody insisted for a song to be sung my Rani Devi, as she was a good singer. Rani though, a little reluctant to sing at that moment due to her not having a good mood, at last agreed to sing this song. This song was impressed all the audience.

Party started. By the time the party is over it was 12 PM night. Rani and Anurag has come in two separate cars.

Rani: See Anurag. I will leave my car here. I will ask my staff to bring it to our house tomorrow. My staff will bring it. Rani sat in Anurag’s car.

Anurag: Drove the car and reached home.

Rani: Why you’re serious Anurag? Why don’t you understand Anurag? My profession is like that.

Anurag: You’re DSP. Okay. When I asked you to come along with me to some place, you’ve to come. I have asked you to come in the evening only, not in odd hours. Why did not you understand? Can’t you understand this small thing? Strongly Anurag told Rani.

Rani: Not like that Anurag. I did not delay willfully. One small issue has come within a group of boys. I wanted to solve it. By the time I could solve the issue, I was delayed.

Since, already got delayed, I left that issue. Because, this is a case pertaining to small boys, I took it lightly. Had it been the case of adults, I would have made them to land in jail, told everything to Anurag.

Anurag: After hearing everything, Anurag said sorry Rani. For your sake, I was waiting at the party. For that reason only I was serious, a little bit. You did a good thing. We should not punish boys in a hurried manner. Anurag has soft corner towards children, liking towards children.

Rani: I know Anurag. Your heart and mind are sensitive and hugged Anurag, out of happiness.

Anurag: Also hugged Rani, in an emotional feeling.

NEXT DAY:

Rani: Called the Constable.

Constable: Madam, please tell me.

Rani: Yesterday’s boys Name Ramu. Is it not? Let us go to them. Rani moved towards Police Jeep.

Constable: Drove the Jeep. Rani was sitting on the front side. The jeep has stopped near the school.

Rani: Met the Principal. They had a discussion and a dialogue. After one hour Rani came out from the Principals room Rani went to another place. Afterwards came back to office. Rani returned back, after sometime, to her home. Rani wanted to phone to Anurag. Again, Rani did not do any phone. When I am free today, Ralni thought that not disturb Anurag. She thought that Anurag will be busy in office. This is not correct way. I will wait, thought for a while.

In the meantime, Rani’s mother-in-law telephoned.

Padmavathi: Hello Rani, How are you? Is Anurag at home?

Rani: OK. Aunty. I am fine. How is uncle? I am busy in handling one case or the other. Please don’t think anything. Even I did not do any phone call to my parents, since so many days.

Padmavathi: You’re correct Rani. But, everybody is busy. Affection is always there and we should speak to close people always. Please phone us now and then. Your parents and we are only your affectionate people, said Padmavathi to Rani.

Rani: Sorry, Aunty. I will contact you now and then. At least, weekly once I will speak to you Aunty. Is it K, said Rani to Aunty.

Padmavathi: OK Rani. Yes. I forgot to tell you Rani. Sudha telephone yesterday from US. They are nice. One good news Rani. I am becoming grandmother soon. Told to Rani, out of happiness and enthusiasm.

Rani: Ohו Very good Aunty. I will ring up Sudha and tell my Congrats. Anurag also will speak to Sudha. OK Aunty. Sure, without fail we will speak to Sudha.

Padmavathi: Rani, you telephone. OK. If God bless you, that you also become Mother. It’s my wish. I will ask you Rani. You don’t keep anything in mind. I am like your mother, don’t keep any secret with me. You be frank, Padmavati told to Rani.

Rani: Yes. Aunty. Please tell me what you want to ask me. I feel like you are my mother and uncle as father.

Padmavathi: Are you making any planning? Anything being postponed?

Rani: No Aunty. It is nothing like that. If things go according to God’s wish everybody will be happy including myself. Having children for job holders and non-job holders, matters nothing. Rani: Aunty, you and uncle can come and stay with us for some days.

Padmavathi: OK Rani, I will try to come and stay with you. Rani was told.

Anurag: Arrived home from his office.

Rani told everything to Anurag about the entire discussion.

Anurag: Oh. Very good news. You told me happy news. I am become material uncle shortly. Anyway, hugged Rani and lifted her with happiness.

Rani: Oh. My God. What is this Anurag? Stop.

Anurag: Oh. Sorry Rani, out of happy feelings, I hugged you. OK Today will go to hotel for a dinner. You don’t prepare anything.

Rani: OK Anurag. I will get ready.

Anurag: Hi, Sudha, Congrats. For becoming mother. I wish you all the best. Please also tell my Congrats to your husband Chaitanya. Telephoned to Sudha.

Sudha: Thanks brother. OK. Well. Leave us. What about yours. When you’re becoming father. Where is Rani, laughingly asked Sudha to Anurag?

Anurag: I am ready. Here look, Rani is coming. You speak to Rani. Sudha, you speak to Rani.

Sudha: Hello Rani, how are you. I hope you’re alright.

Rani: I am OK. Firstly Congrats to both of you. I wish you all the best.

Chaitanya: Thanks Rani, It’s OK. What about you. When are you becoming mother?

Rani: First, is your case Sudha. Net is our case. Is it male baby or female baby? Rani laughingly asked Sudha.

Sudha: Whoever it may be, OK. There is no problem, It won’t make any difference for me to have male or female baby. OK Rani.

Rani: See Sudha, we are now leaving for dinner. We will speak to you next. Said Rani and disconnected the phone.

Rani and Anurag went to Hotel for Dinner.

Rani: In the car, Rani asked Anurag. I spoke to you about a boy some days ago. Did you remember, reminded Rani to Anurag.

Anurag: Yes Rani, I do remember, what happened to that case, Rani?

Rani: Nothing Anurag. All are small boys. Small issue becoming big issue. I could know boys psychology and habits. For that reason only I met Principal. I told Principal to inform me before parents’ day meeting.

Anurag: What did Principal said, Rani. I don’t think Principal will accept this. Why because, the school will get bad name, if parents see Police staff, said to Rani.

Rani: Principal, in the first instance did not agree for this. Later, I could convince Principal. For that reason only sometime took. But one condition Principal accepted for my say.

Anurag: What is that condition Rani?

Rani: That also I suggested to Principal.

Anurag: That’s correct. What is that suggestion Rani?

Rani: Yes Anurag. Mother is running NGO Institution for poor and destitute children. Your mother is a lecturer. If we call boys of them and counsel these boys, then, there may be some result for boys’ change of behavior attitudes.

Anurag: Rani, I don’t know that. Boys may change their attitudes or not. But, your philosophy could be correct, Let us see.

Rani: Even one or two boys change with the counseling, then all is fine.

Anurag: I don’t know our parents come or not. I will enquire.

Rani: OK Anurag. You speak to them and find out. Let’s go, and paid the Dinner Bill to the Hotel. Both went to the car.
