I think that most of the time it’s better to be in the main characters head. But from time to time it’s nice to “see” the thoughts of the supporting cast.

honestly the last 10 or so chapters have been super boring . I preferred the earlier chapters .

With multiple people in a chapter, this point of view is perfect. But if there's only a few (2-3) people the previous chapter's point of view would be preferred.

"headhopping" as you said it, is fine, but make it clear who we are "hopping" into and don't make the parts to short or unless it's for comedic effect or something. But I would recommend focusing more on the Mc, with the occasional "side hop", he is the Mc after all. It also makes it easier and more relatable for the readers.

I like the other chapter omnicent view better

I prefer the first person view like this chapter

keep MC's view but do change to 3rd person pov. don't change pov in the middle of the chapter. I'm fine with both pov as long as you don't waste much time. though I think 3rd person pov was better. idk. I'm not sure
