I don't have much to say other than i love this considering its very unique compared to what people usually post regarding Bleach fanfic and power concerning the story. the hogyoku is one of my favorite powers/item in the wide variety of power in the animeverse and will forever be and what this author did with it, although cliché is still very good in my opinion Writing quality is good overall with some rough edges. and story development could be better using filler arcs and using other aspects of the story.
At first I was slightly put off by how the MC was portrayed, but I stuck with it and the MC seems to have changed from being obsessive on one thing to wanting to reach the end of her desired plot. Although a bit rough personality wise, it rounds out after the first arc. The author is very responsive to comments and easy to interact with. The story sticks to the canon pretty well, at least I can't find anything to point out.
This is a story with ups and downs. The overall quality of the story is very high, the story development is interesting even if at times anxiety inducing (in a good way). The character design is well done with relationships being depicted realistically with a degree of depth with both sides being there own characters rather than only the main character having a personality, opinion and goal. The development of the main character as well as several other important figures is fully shown with clear changes occurring throughout the story. The world background is also kept faithful to the original with bits being occasionally added to provide more to the story. I trully enjoyed reading this work however unfortunately here comes the issues. The beginning is rushed I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but everything before the invasion of soul society feels somewhat rushed the story doesn't suffer but it certainly feels like it was skimmed through so that the author could start the main events of Canon as soon as possible. The only other problem with the story (I think it's more a merit than a demerit though) is that the main character goes through several major developments that don't always make sense the best example of this is what happened with Oetsu, a sudden shift took place and while I seriously enjoyed the villainous Ori and her schemes I still don't understand why she choose to do what she did as I said the development of her character is clear but it is also sometimes very sudden. It's certainly easier to write criticism than praise so I'm sorry if you disagree but I love this story and being so close to the end, the anticipation is killing me, even if it were to stay without an ending this story would still be a story well worth reading.
Unfortunately, I will have to drop this. Don't get me wrong, the story is really good and I like the MC, at least up until things turned dark. I'm not entirely sure why the author decided to change the direction so drasticaly, but I personally don't like it, and this doesn't have anything to do with the fact that the MC changed like this, I've read a lot of fanfics and novels where the MC was evil, but for some reason I never like it when a good MC turnes like tgis suddenly (I don't think its sudden in the case of Orihime, as I saw some hints in some of the chapter, and I'm not sure I would describe this as her turning evil, but a few things just didn't sit well with me) Again, the story until that point was something I really enjoyed a whole lot. the writing is great, the characters are good, and its a Bleach fanfic, so another plus in my book. I'm rating this based on what I read so far. I wish you good luck and keep up the good work Author-san 🙂
