Personally, this mad charge towards the bunker had to come with excepted deaths. I mean his mother and father both are at the front lines. His father someone who would do a one man army type of fighting would most likely die. Not sure if anyone would even be surprised on that. His mother was also a fighter or at least had high chances of dying so also its highly possible as well. Theses deaths are at least more justified than most novels out there. So its alright with me, In fact I hope the MC will one day claim the Mojave and oust the NCR. along with the legion of course. So him having a blood fued with the NCR is something I rather like. my own opinion of course! To me apocalypse games or novels are always gritty, so theses dark backgrounds are always needed. In a world with very little law and anarchy what else can you except.
I don't like it when the authors kill kids, kill parents, ect. They say it's for the MC to grow and after 2 chapters the MC forgets and everything continues as if it had happened. I believe and hope that it will not be the case here. It's not that I want MC to go in a whirlwind of revenge and darkness, but that he doesn't forget what the NRC did to him and his people.
Well that's going to completely change the story and now the only way this is going to go is badly because now everyone is going to expect the MC to murder slaughter rampage all over the place Not a fan of the direction things are going in Personal opinion not me hating on the story or author as I realize lots of people like characters like the Punisher
i remember reading the bad things that happened, on both the BoS ' and the NCR's side, about huge losses. And how the NCR, dealing with the legion, wouldve been easier if they had not fought the BoS. But the NCR are spread to thin and need energy routed to many of theyre bases, and this was theyre reasoning for accepting theyre losses at the power plant. Its just the BoS didnt need to lose that many ppl if Elijah wasnt crazy obsessed.
