Sarah's POV:
"Jacob? Is it the one I know?" The old lady questioned.
"Yes, the childhood friend," Anthony added with a sarcastic tone. She nodded and turned to me.
"It's good you are making efforts for your marriage. I don't like you, but I won't want the kids to grow up without parents, especially my little Josh," she added, and I didn't know how to reply.
What aspect of me gave me the thought that I was making efforts to fix the wedding? "I will go freshen up." I excused myself and went upstairs.
My phone was ringing nonstop. I checked and saw that I had several missed calls from Unise, Elma, and Jacob.
I sighed and dialed Unise's number, and it got connected. "Hello, I am sorry I missed the flight." I apologized at once.
"There is no need to; Mr. Wistold has already explained everything to me. So I will take off alone."
"Explained?"
