In an alleyway there are 10 people chatting and talking about despicable stuff. They talked about how they rob a salaryman, about how luscious the woman they saw.

While the 10 people are chatting, a mysterious individual with black cloak appeared behind them unnoticed only to realized when that person speak.

"I have an offer if you complete it I'll pay you 100K dollars." The voice of the mysterious person cannot be identified wether they we're a man or a woman. They could be using a device to change their voice.

10 people looked at this mysterious person questionly but their eyes are honestly showing signs of greediness when they heard about money. They we're thinking of robbing this person instead of accepting the request.

The mysterious person watched the 10 hoodlums in despise and inwardly they sneered at this foolish idiots. They grabbed something inside Their coat and revealed an item that resembles a gun. The gun is so cool and beautiful it had an appearance of red desert eagle.

When the 10 hoodlums saw the mysterious person revealed a gun, their hearts trembled and cold sweat appeared on their back. They got scared of this person even though earlier they looked like a hyena preying for its prey.

A person step forward from the 10 hoodlums group, it appears he is the leader of this gang."Y-Yes We will accept your request, Benevolent guest"

"Good, Then let's have a happy business"After saying his words, the person mysterious person disappeared. On the spot where the mysterious person disappeared, a pile of paper fell, It was the information.

Eran was having a hard face beacuse an hour had passed yet he didn't saw any happenings. He visited most of the alleyways near the objective map. The system has a map by the way. The mission location have been circled, inside the circle is the objective.

3 hours and 30 minutes remaining until the the time limit.

Why is he having a hard time? It's because half an hour ago an Alarm was sounded by the whole city, People needed to evacuate in a safe area. Countless Variants are attacking Arcane city, Citizens are panicking.

They are panicking because not only there are countless variants there is also a boss-type variants. A boss-type variant is a leader of a herd, a boss-type variants is normally a lvl 3 or 4. The lvl of the boss-type that is attacking Arcane city is lvl 4.

Eran looked calm and a hint of confidence appeared on his face but inside his heart and mind he was scared and trembling. Though the [Emperor's Intimidation] can supress fear of the user it doesn't mean he can't feel them.

The system maybe can help him solve this variants raid. So that's why he was in hurry to find the objective, it seems the time limit is also acountdown of the city walls destruction.

While Eran is searching for the objective, suddenly he thought of his family His Father, Mother, Brother and Sister's smile. And his now mysterious beloved girlfriend's smile. His heart pained like being twisted because if he don't complete the mission, The variants will attack inside the the city and massacre everyone they see. He don't want to see his family, girlfriend and his friends also his childhood friend hurt. He's worried what if he failed the mission will he die? can he see his family again? Various questions appeared in his mind.

Eran was thinking hard on how to survive and how to find the objective and complete this goddamn mission. He resolve himself to complete this mission no matter how hard it is, He will do anything to complete it, Even if the heavens fall he doesn't want to see his closest ones to get hurt. If god wanted to touch his closest ones he will defeat god, If Variant Overlord wanted to hurt his closest ones he will slay the Variant Overlord It might be selfish for him to think of it but he is himself after all.

Humans after all are selfish creatures, If you ask them they shake their head because they didn't know that they are selfish. They just believe on what they believe, just like those fanatics, if you slander their lord they will shout at you "Heresy! As the guardian of blah blah i will punish you!". Well, the big question is; is their lord even exist?

Eran shook his head from thinking nonsensical shit. He halt his steps and survey around, there are still few people running and panicking, abandoned vehicles on the road. Foolish people trying to take advantage of the situation tried to rob a store but a police came and he was cuffed. Though the alert wanted the people to evacuate, it doesn't mean the security personel will evacuate either.

Then he saw 10 people walked out the alley. Their appearance looked like a shitty gangsters with gangster hairstyle, spiky hair, piercings and gangster like clothes. Eran suspected that this people should be the objective. He doesn't want them to suspect him so he follows them cautiously from behind and listen to what they are talking.

"Big Brother, do we really need to follow that persons offer?" A spiky hoodlum questioned, he looked stupid.

"If we don't accept their offer, we would be dead by now. That mark on that person's pistol, they seems to be from ScarletBlood Organization. I remember this organization is known for their vicious, inhuman, cruelty and tyranny, No one knows how many members they had, No one knows where their HQ is, No one knows who the master is, They are Unknown, They only leave their organizations name and mark after they complete their task." The leader of the gang seems to be intellectual but he only heard it on the news. but it seems his subordinate actually believe he is smart.

"Big brother isn't that what the news reporter said yesterday?" One of the members foolishly spoke that he shouldn't have. They look at him in scorn. The leader who was smiling proudly earlier was frozen and his smile erked.

Eran was eavesdropping them from behind heard them. When he heard about the organization he was alarmed. He thought that the mysterious person was observing them from afar, he asked the system.

Eran slapped his forehead, Why did he forget. His ability [Emperor's Intimidation] can detect someone that is eyeing him no matter how far that person is, Even at the other side of the world or another dimension, Eran could sense them. If they have a maliscious intent on him, the defensive system of the ability will activate and that person will feel terror if he continued to harbor malicious intent on Eran.

Though it's a powerful ability, Eran still weak and he still still did not master the ability, he could only frighten a lvl 3-4 people.

Now that he focus on the ability, No one is watching him. Eran sighed in relief.
