5 Do it or Not?

After taking a lunch. Freya wanted to go home, So Eran escorted her. When they have arrive at her house, Her house is not far from his home, it's 10 kilometers apart.

Before Freya got into her house's door, she kissed her beloved and said encouragingly.

"Hubby, goodluck, don't disappoint me" She kissed him again. Eran was surprised by his Normal(probably?) girlfriend. He did not expect to receive an encouragement from her, He could only stand there stiffed and strucked.

"I'll do my best..."He came back his senses and replied dully. He smiled but not really a smile but twitching his cheeks.

"Okay then, I'll go inside now" Without waiting for his response, She opened her door and got in. Then closed it, she did not look behind her.

"Did she just encourage me? why?" He was puzzled by her behavior, so he shook his head and make that thought disappear his head. Thinking too much will result in dilemma and stressed.

Eran is walking on the sidewalk and stop at the bus terminal, waiting for a bus. He was really puzzle and have so many questions unanswered. He didn't where to look for a clue. Even the system thing, he is thinking about it more. Why did the system choose him? Is there someone behind all of this? what happened to his supposed to be normal girlfriend, who is plain and nothing remarkable about her, suddenly became mysterious.

Anyway, Eran have so many problems right now. Compared to his normal life in the past, today he feel stressed and tired. He still did not even complete the mission but he already felt tired.

While he was organizing his thoughts, the bus stopped before the terminal. Eran saw the door of the bus opened and the sound of it opening, brought him back to his senses. He glance at the interior of the bus and saw a whole pack of human, just like sardines inside a can.

'It's full, should i get in?' Eran thought and looked at his watch, the time is still early.

Eran hesitated for a moment and decided to get in. Eran thought of going home but felt it would be boring to stay home. So he is planning to go to game center and play some arcade games.

Eran got inside of the bus and was looking for a space to stand, because there's no seat at all, considering the whole bunch of human pushing each other, He can't see a space at all.

Without thinking, push himself through at this human sardines. Some people are snickering at Eran but he ignored them. Just around the corner, Eran saw an empty space and stop there. He grabbed the holder that was on top of his head. Then the bus started.

The City where Eran lives is called Arcane City from Magus Country. And Mana Continent.

Arcane city is one of the biggest city in Magus country, Magus country is one of the biggest country in Mana continent. The are 4 Continents in the world called Vanus. The 4 continents are Mana, Sword, Bow and Shield.

As for why the names is like this, No one knows. Although the continent where Eran lives is called Mana, If you hear Mana you will think of Magic right? Unfortunately, that's not it, People cannot use magic. The world is ordinary, where they study science and create technologies. Even though there is no magic, They still practice Swordmanship, Archery and Etc. Why? Monsters exist, No they are called Variant species.

Every Cities in each continents are Covered By massive walls. Because Variants attacks cities periodically. But because of Evolution of technologies created by mankind Such as Turrets, Particle cannon or Photon ray and other powerful weapons. Variants couldn't slip though the defenses of the cities, Unfortunately for the low class cities they could only suffer from those Variants.

There is an Organization that hunts this variants it's called the Adventurer Guild. They hunted variants for their materials, this materials can be used to create weapons.

Anyway, In the past Eran was not interested in Adventure. He thinks he would die early.

Another thing, Although mankind cannot use magic there are still demi-humans existing in the world such as Beast people, Elves, Dwarf, Giants and etc. Though of if you thought of Elves you think they are professional in using magic right? Unfortunately again, they can't, but doesn't mean they don't specialty. They can talk nature's spirit or will'o'wisp.

If you thought of Magic? You think it's amazing and wonderful. But it's not because the Magic in the world disappeared or the Mana Depleted. It's because in Ancient times, Mankind used magic carelessly resulting catastrophe of the world. When Gods in heaven realized how this tiny Mankind carelessly destroying the world, punished them. Gods seized the Magic from mankind and Gods gave them an oracle that They would only give magic back to them 100,000 years later.

After that Mankind could not use magic anymore, especially the elves who specialized in magic. Luckily only magic are taken not tgere other innates. Like Elves who can talks to spirits, Dwarf who can create powerful weapon, Giants with there montrous stregnth, Beast people with there animal traits.

The only unlucky ones are the Humans, They are weak, they don't have special traits, when magic was taken away from them they we're devastated. When magic still existed, Humans studied magic profusely and they arrived at the peak of Magic study surprassing the elves, Conqured cities, countries and continents. Now that they we're helpless, They could only hide and run from those special races.

99,999 years have passed by then. But most people forgotten about it already. Only the hidden families, clan and groups knows about it. No one knows.

Now let's go back to where we are.

Eran who was standing in the bus, Smartphone on hand, but didn't focus on his phone but in frontof him. He Saw something ridiculous, He don't know if he should do it or not?
