ya you should upgrade vampire as well, you can consider it an ability also, so you can become progenitor vamp like dracula, Alucard ect... they are living vamps so none of the undead BS and your cover can be number 1 because you won't need blood at all and your coven that you turn will only need a blood pill once and a while.
