After their discovery, Reya and Mina went back to bed. They both snuggled close and slept.
The next morning a hesitant knock woke her up. Yawning Reya tottered to the door. She opened it a bit and peeked out. "Yes?"
Clive stood outside dressed in full training attire. He pushed the door open and strode in confidently. "It's time for training Dear Reya~" he said with a cheerful smirk.
Reya yawned and stretched. "Too early," she walked back to bed and jumped in.
Clive followed her behind and stood next to her bed. With his hands on his hips, he watched her roll inside her duvet. "Reya, you have to train," he whispered not to disturb sleeping Mina.
"Later," she replied and snuggled into her fluffy pillow.
Losing patience, Clive pulled the duvet off of her. Thankfully Mina had her own duvet, she rolled over and snored away.
"Reya, get up now or else no breakfast," he whisper shouted.
Reya opened her bloodshot eyes wide open. "We are in a free country. This is slavery," she moaned.
Clive knocked her bed head and grimaced. "This is my house, so my rules," he said with a prideful smirk.
Reya sat up and glanced at him with a wooden stare. "I hate you," she whispered.
Clive chuckled and dragged her out. "Good to know." he shoved a towel and the training outfit he was carrying in her hands. "Now go take a bath," he pushed her towards the bathroom.
Limply, she walked in. While closing the door, she glanced at him and frowned. "I really hate you," she closed the door with a bang and took a cold bath. The hot water was not available, so she took a quick shower and rushed out.
The training outfit was quite stretchy and comfortable to wear. She stretched her hands and rolled her stiff shoulders. "Why do we have to train so early? Like, we can wake up at 10am and do the same workout," she muttered as she brushed her teeth. It was one of her habits. She brushed only after taking a bath.
Wiping her two-inch hair, she walked out the bathroom. Clive stood outside with a bored expression.
"Ah, finally! Let's go," he dragged her out. On the way, she met Lucas wiping down a painting in the hallway.
"Good morning, Lucas," she shouted cheerfully.
Lucas nodded and waved.
Clive nodded at him as well. After which he continued dragging Reya behind him.
He took her to the backyard and started stretching. "Start stretching. Try shadowing my movements," he said as he twisted his hips.
Reya yawned and followed as he did. Weirdly so, he started walking on his tip toe, then he started walking sideways like a crab. 'What kind of stretching is this?' she thought, but she fooled as he did.
Soon he finished the stretching with a deep breath. "Go run around here five times," he pointed to the small pathway. Lucas had mentioned that this pathway led all around the mansion.
Nodding, Reya took a deep breath. Her powers rushed through her bishop as she was preparing to zoom through. Suddenly he stepped in her path.
"Without using your powers," he said with a glare.
"What!" Reya shouted. This mansion was super big. At least this mansion would be as long as two football fields. 'Five rounds around this... I would die,' she thought.
Yet still she ran. Halfway through the first round, she started panting. She had become quite comfortable recently, so her muscles had loosened up.
"Ugh.... little further...." she panted and rushed forward. Her legs started to throb and pulse.
Finishing a round she held her knees and panted hard. A few droplets of sweat rolled down her forehead and dripped into her eyes. Wiping it away she glanced at Clive who's was peacefully sitting under an umbrella drinking lemon tea.
"Why is he... wearing training outfit..... for? To drink tea.... I don't understand geniuses like him," she whispered to herself. "I finished one round can I rest?" she shouted to him.
He removed his shades and glanced at her. "You have four more to go," he said. He even had a small timer with him, and he noted it down in a notepad.
Reya glared at him and started running again. This time she did not even cross the halfway point before collapsing. She sat on the pathway and panted. "Why am I running? Isn't he..... training my powers?" she said through her heavy breathing.
"It's for a reason," Clive said from behind. He had noticed her collapsing, so he rushed over. He lifted her up and glanced down at her trembling legs. 'Looks like she needs a lot of training,' he thought and removed his shades.
"What....reason....is that?" Reya said while panting.
