I had to drop after the MC tattoos his face with a cheesy code name as if that was cool. Since this happened immediately after a disgraceful time-skip in the early chapters of the novel I knew the author isn't serious about his product. If you are skipping a whole month only 2 days into the novel because you think it woyld be too boring to explain then what incentive is there for a reader to read? Even the writer is bored, for good reason. leveling up involves reading magical books he doesn't even understand and then automatically getting the spell. He barely fights or does anything at all, but somehow ends up leveling a bunch of skills he didn't even use like smithing. let's just say he beats the game and skip the novel. I'm out.
This is based heavily off The Legendary Mechanic and it's original enough to enjoy if you want something similar to TLM, because the only things taken from TLM are the system and MC is NPC part and some other smaller things. Honestly I would just recommend this overall, because it's The Legendary Mechanic but its The Legendary Mage.
The Novel so far is good. It takes a similar approach to writing as The Legendary Mechanic. The writing is good on the way it is conveyed, but it needs something like Grammarly to help spell check the words without taking too much time. The world background is kind of bland and I would like to see more daily life of people in the world. Overall this so far is a good read and has a lot of potential.
Seems worth a shot. Please don't disappoint me in the Game genre. There are not many that are worthwhile. Seems worth a shot. Please don't disappoint me in the Game genre. If your finding something like The Legendary Mechanic or Legendary Boss this is your cup of tea, So far everything is good except that the updates are slow, But it was still a good novel. My opinion or etc. MC's Rival? the progression of some story/arc are fast please put a current status(stats, skill, titles and etc.) of the mc FOR THE AUTHOR KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK <3
One thing I request that Author puts into the story of How Players become MCâs solider slowly with him being looked in good and cool light where his NPC charisma makes the solider flock to MC, and also siphoning EXP similar to Han Xiao by selling skills and abilities. PLS let this be part of story
Honestly, there is little I can offer criticism of. Even the few gramatical errors, when pointed out are acknowledged kindly by the author like a champ. It's a genuinely good read if extremely low on actual combat and primarily Kingdom Building oriented. I dont really feel like his combat abilities matter since he hasn't had an actual in detail fight yet, and his status reports are also pointless as a result to them being irrelevant to the story. I like the story, the plot, quite a lot tough.
