I love the slow growth of Delaney. She can appreciate his sacrifice. Author, you do a great job portraying the horrors without getting too graphic. Vincent's pause in the middle, this was such a great chapter.

I am glad that Vincent came to her to check on her and to clear the air. I am thrilled Delaney listened to him but was honest with her feelings. Glad too that she asked about the dragon and he opened up to her about that day. Hoping their relationship continues to grow.
