The Blades Clash but only one will prevail part 1

Artirian POV

To know my enemy is to know myself. I must be calm in my way of giving instructions and decisions to my subordinates. To every decision, I make there will be pros and cons, and I need a balance of those so that my judgment will not fail me. I am sure of myself this time.

I would look into the window where I see children playing. I wish I could play too when I was a child. I wish I can be happy like them. There is no feeling of fear nor sadness in my life.

Arthur would tap my back and would head out.

It was pretty happy times... if only I can go back to my past life and not even experience or think of this wrecked place I have experienced.

After 2 hours of preparation of the boys, they began moving to assemble near their assigned positions.

Meanwhile, the orphanage is being filled with aristocrats, who wear masks and little but glamorous outfits to conceal their identities.

Their carriages don't look expensive so they don't want to attract gossip or attention from common folks.

On what they are planning on doing, as Artirian looked at the orphanage on top of a house balcony and he would say with an angry tone of voice "these smelly aristocrats they are disgusting to see on this kind of work.".

Then the positions are all ready. And they only need the signal to begin the first phase of the objective.

The only thing they are waiting for is the signal of the 1st and 2nd groups. Which was deployed inside the orphanage.

As the 1st and 2nd group that will lead to the inside infiltration of the orphanage. Meanwhile, at the front gate of the orphanage.

The group 3 and 4 are amazingly done; they did a spectacular job of concealing the bodies of the guards that were unconscious and been changed by some other member of the group and when the last carriage has been moved inside the courtyard. Artirian's men proceeded to the second phase of the plan.

The 1st and 2nd groups begin to infiltrate at the back door located at the edge of the house of the orphanage. There are 7 guards that were patrolling around and one guard is the head patrol guard.

The head guard then gets hit by the poison dart that had been fired by one of the boys.One hit by the poison dart will make the target unconscious and make the target weak. Then soon die in a coma. But the first symptoms of the poison dart is an extremely painful bite. 

Soon after the 1st group splits apart as they enter the 2nd-floor windows while the 2nd group is eliminating the other guards who were still guarding out in the open. Then a sudden interruption happens: a loud explosion mixed with a smaller explosion.

An unknown object that was rolling on the ground which imposed such a devastating explosion as its damage was enormous and could set a whole place ablaze. Once it landed on the ground it would explode.

Added with a wild confusion, it also alerted the whole place even the other places were also alarmed of the explosion.

Screams and cries can be seen and can be heard in the orphanage house. The explosion can be heard across the whole 3rd section of the city. Because of the sudden interruption the groups 3 and 4 were signaled to retreat.

The unconscious guards were able to gain consciousness but they would still have some side effects from the poison as it will weaken the target or give the target a sudden death if not treated early. The 1st and 2nd groups then immediately retreated when they heard the loud explosion.

That is why they only have rescued only half of the children that were inside the orphanage. They also have taken down 21 patrol guards and mercenaries that were guarding the inside of the orphanage courtyard and inside the building.

But they also lost 5 of their fellow groupmates. Soon all groups are out within the range of the orphanage house, as for Artirian who is overlooking the main courtyard of the orphanage.

He was able to see the carriages getting blown up one by one and a thick smoke was slowly engulfing the house in a 12 meter radius and flames were massive. The Orphanage was not yet ablaze but the front door was already destroyed.

Aristocrats who were attending started running away but because of the wall, they can't escape. Soon enough all of them started panicking that they may get arrested or killed.

Then a Red hooded figure comes out from the smoke and debris of the destroyed gate slowly walking towards the entrance door.

As Artirian looked closely the Red hooded figure looked like a woman. As Artirian observes the woman has an arch-type weapon which is a very deadly weapon that can almost destroy buildings when used properly.

Only a few noble families have that kind of weapon. As Artirian was still able gaze on the hooded woman as she continued to walk straight to the burning carriages and step on the debris of wood and broken glass.

Every Aristocrat she sees was slashed with 4 strikes on the arms and on the legs. Every slash is so deep the blood spurted like a fountain on the ground. 

The hooded figure was easily killing the patrol guards and some private guards of some Aristocrats but… In some small sword fights with veteran patrol guards. She then meets her enemy, a muscular swordsman who can imbue his gallant force on his sword.

In gallant power there are two types of force. Then the gallant power has two branches called the divine healing and the other one is known as Gallant force in the Gallant force you can imbue your force into an object or you can imbue it to your physical appearance.

The Swordsman then imbues his gallant force into the sword making the sword give a sense of aura of pure yellow and little black mix.

Meanwhile the hooded woman also imbues her arch-type weapon with a vibrant of orange and red with a mix of black.

Then they would face each other holding their weapons uptight, their grips on their weapons were tight and both of them were furious and their focus on fighting was so quick. *CLING CLANG CLING CLANG*

Then both of them would dash forward as they clashed both of their forces and weapons. Then the waves of power released to the air of their aura and also a strong of wind that made the debris fly in many directions.

As for other people who are not used to this, they are getting blown away by the sudden force. The flames from the carriages were distinguished because of the strong wind. The only thing left was the burned wood and ember.

Their swords that clashed be heard from in a mere distance *CLING CLANG Swooswh CLANG CLING* Those sounds got louder as their fight became intense and also few lights were coming from their swords as they clashed.

The muscular man already feels like he is losing too much gallant force so he jumped back to breath and also to give space between them. So that both of them are able to take a few rest for minutes.

But the Hooded woman did not attack the muscular swordsman and rather just stared at him and then the hooded woman looked at the balcony where Artirian is positioned. And then gave Artirain a cold gaze a kind of gaze that was able to strike through Artirian mind and what.

The hooded woman already knew that Artirian was watching from the distance while she was fighting.

Then she suddenly looked at the gate and got a feeling that someone was coming so she quickly threw a smoke bomb on the floor and she vanished in the thick smoke.

And soon came was the City Lord Armed Division with 40 knights and 50 conscripts which was poorly dressed.

When they entered the premises of the orphanage it was a disaster they were able to see old aristocrats that were highly doubtful of molesting children.

And debris of destroyed carriages and the orphanage which is half destroyed

The knights of the City then grabbed each and one of them for questioning some of them were still unconscious or still scared of what happened. Almost all of the carriages were either burned or destroyed.

The orphanage door was also destroyed while some of the patrol guards were found dead while they kept investigating. Then they saw bodies of mercenaries that were killed by swords. The neck of the mercenaries was lacerated.

The head knights investigator then begins looking into culprits questioning the witnesses. Some children in the orphanage were naked that was later found by the head investigator thus shall give the sentence of closure for the orphanage and the arrest of almost 40 Aristocrats.
