I kind of new here and have been confused on something. I’m reading this book and one more. I have enough passes/coins etc to continue reading and I can’t t proceed. I’m at the end of a chapter, I ooked at the amount of chapters listed on the books description and I haven’t reached the last number. Why can’t I proceed to the next chapters? Have those chapters not been written? It’s showing the number of chapters I have read and I’m close to the end on both of them. Like 167/169. I just don’t understand how this works at all! I hope this makes sense.
Will he have her hold the Fool card too? I like Raphael Sparrow. I wonder what reading Maddie will get this time? I like that he has magic cards that change with the person. As for Beths card I feel like it means she’s putting herself in a dangerous situation willingly. Understanding tarot cards is a big help, carrying sticks to me comes off as a burden they have thorns so it means pain. Either physically or mentally and walking toward a cliff can be many things. She can fall off if she isnt careful. Or that she’s reaching a point, where she has to jump to her doom or turn back, since there’s no where to go. The fools card (everyman) usually means innocence, potential and frolly or negligence, uncertainty and carelessness depending on how it falls. Calhoun is no fool. So the fact that it came up blank is intriguing but also makes sense. Calhoun is calculating and careful he pays attention and is very clever. Ahh what a great writer!! Talent like this is rare!
Thank you for the diwali gift. Happy Diwali. I think again Maddie's mother might commit some deed out of worry which will shatter maddie and displease Calhoun further may end up in her doomsday just like her in laws. Hope it won't be the case. However, it's sure the case for Beth and the Wilmots out of greed and the darkness lurking in their hearts & thoughts.
I hope Maddie can find the answers that she's looking for sooner and hopefully Raphael can guiding her towards it. As a said, Elizabeth being a false friend which is worse than an open enemy now! She's getting more greedy and jealous towards Madeline especially with Wilmot's around. Dear Maddie, please find the answers sooner and embrace what you are so you can getting stronger and protect everything you had and deserves for 🙏
