I’m loving the way Calhoun and Madeline’s relationship is developing. Calhoun told her right at the start of their relationship that she could always trust him and that she would always be safe by his side. I’m so glad that she is coming to realise this for herself and that after seeing James she still chose Calhoun. I’m also so glad to see that she is accepting his touch without complaint and that he is listening to her more. I hope so bad that they arent torn apart now, I dont think I could bear that for them! Madeline is meant for Calhoun in my eyes!

This is sooooo sweet. Calhoun and Madeline are like a pair of married husband and wife already. Then the dutiful husband is giving his backache wife a massage. How sweet!! I love the way they communicate. Turning quarrels to discussion and heartfelt talks. Thats the way their souls truly connect ❤️ The way Calhoun plant a kiss on her bare shoulders - gosh! Thats so love! 💕💕

These are some of the best chapters. Maddie is willingly opening up and asking for Calhoun's help and advice. Smiling like a fool reading these sweet chapters. He is so affectionate and attentive to her 🥰🥰

Lol can you imagine the Walmots jaw drop at the development that their little news drop brought the couple closer together 😂. Not to mention uncovered a rather treasonous note. I really cant wait to find out what Maddie is!

I’m not usually into slow burn books because I’m impatient but i really appreciate how the characters personalities are growing at a more realistic rate. Love Calhoun and the direction their relationship is going.

He’s very supportive of her. She deserves to have somebody who has her back. I have a feeling her parents have done nothing but deceive her all of her life. Maybe those bruises on her back are where wings will come out 😘 Maybe she is just like Calhougn 🤗

Finally, we are getting somewhere! Poor Calhoun doesn’t know how to be loved which is why he has such an obsessive approch... I can not wait for the outcome of their shared love!
