The Ugly Facade 3

In a historical museum at City B, it was supposed to be closed and nobody should be there at this early hour, except for the guards. However, just beside a tall sculpture, several bodies way lying on the floor soaking with their own blood.

It was silent there and it's like as if everything was just fine. The lights were open at the large building but the ambience was eerie.

"So you came?" said a familiar husk voice as he looked at the person In front of him. Blood running over the moment he saw the catastrophe of his being.

It was that damned fiery red haired man

Red, the color of blood

"Of course, you're a criminal after all" replied Aka with a boring expression. He came at the museum, unarmed. He isn't carrying anything, he was just wearing his stoic military uniform.

"You're not a cop" replied the Major General in haste

"But I'm a soldier" Aka said back in calm

" Soldier huh? You're just wasting your time in this sh*t hole" the Major General said with a cold glare

"Said someone who is no other than the Major General himself, you must've got enough at the military with your disgusting get up" Aka glinted

"You don't know me…" the Major General mocked in fury

"Well I don't but I know a story, a very great one" Aka answered completely not affected by the Major General's taunting stare

The Major General raised his eyebrow,

Aka faced the large artwork in front of him which is one of Francisco Goya's famous piece.

Saturn Devouring His Son,

This artwork depicts the Greek myth of Titan Cronus who fears that he would be overthrown by one of his children, so he ate each one upon their birth.

"If I recall, the younger brother always wanted to become an artist since he excel at it. However the father disputed the idea and take the younger brother's dream to become one and the father utterly crushed it. But, the younger brother didn't give up and still pursue his goal although, he become a soldier. This museum, it was the sacred place right?" Aka then glance at the Major General whose face is so bitter

"I don't know what are you talking about" said the Major General in denial

"I'm not done yet. If you look at the right side, those paintings were all the younger brother's piece. He is too talented to be a waste…" Aka paused as he walked at the right side, in there, several other paintings was diligently framed and hanged. The art pieces were all aesthetic and it mostly depicted brotherly bonds and emotions.

"The younger brother didn't used his name as a signature on his beautiful artworks, but instead he used a two letter, it was MJ, it stands for Major General" as Aka finished his statement the Major General went berserk

"That's enough! You don't know everything so shut your damn mouth!!" he exploded

"Of course I don't know everything, you didn't tell me about it in the first place" Aka sarcastically said

"If you look at that painting beside you, that was you" Aka utter

When the Major General turned, he saw the art piece 'Saturn Devouring His Son', his face ashen.

"You killed your own brother because you fear that one day, he will surpass you, His Captain Rae Regilia was it?"

"Shut up!!" the Major General shouted in anger but he doesn't have the strength to charge forward and kill this man. It's like as if his strength has vanished. He felt so weak suddenly.

"You planned to eradicate his existence but you used that goon to kill your brother. Why? You can't withstand seeing your dear brother in pain after all?" Aka smirked playfully

"No I don't! I just dislike him and his all existence! I don't want to see that disgusting face of his that's why!" the Major general yelled back completely trembling.

"Then what if I told you that your son has experienced the same?"

Upon hearing that, the Major general froze as he stared at Aka with widened eyes in shock,

"Your son was willing to give everything on a person whom he treated as a brother although, they're not related by blood, that brother was like you, so selfish and hated him. After seeing the familiar scene, it seems, your son was the victim of what you did to your brother and even if buried it on the very depth, history will repeat itself" Aka added nonchalantly

The Major General can't believe what he just heard. How come this bastard knows even about this?

"Truth to be told, a fight between men should go hack and slash and conversation like this shouldn't happen, however there is something I would like to be clear of…" Aka stated –

"If…" the Major General trembled

"If you were on my footing that time…. would you do the same?" he asked

Aka broke his gaze away as his stare at the flamboyant chandelier hanging on the tall ceiling and answered-

"Even if I was pained, I won't turn it into hate and I won't let it change me"

"It's funny to think that people think killing is the only answer when that word itself stands for the weak, who refused to face the sad reality. In this cruel word, nothing succeed like success. You might hide everything with the use of a thick mask however it's too bad, I'm the one who saw through it"

"And I'm a person who wants to finish the story once I started reading. Be might be a story that is unfinished, and if it wasn't done until the very end, I'll make my own ending even if it means going against the author"

"As the main character of your own story, you must've long understood that you became a villain to someone. In fact it was very accurate that 'Greed has nothing so he killed a man with everything'. Aka eyed at him in hollow

He is in no position to say this because he knows himself too well and he is interfering with someone's story right now however if there's to be blamed, this story of these two brothers which is like an oil and water was very intriguing. The other one is blinded by love and hasn't foreseen his older brother's wrath, while the other one was lacking love and let the darkness inside him to consume him.

Now that the prick on his eyes has been long dead, was he satisfied?
